A few days ago I was arguing with someone I don't know on here who made a post about rape and how society perceived it to be important and how that means people think dying is better than being raped. And I keep seeing their posts on the dash now that I check Tumblr again. I go to block the account... They keep reblogging from an account called "i-suggest-sexual-assault". You know. An account that came onto my post I made a few days ago to make a joke about me getting sexually assaulted because I was complaining about how poorly Tumblr treats rape as a topic. You can really just never win on this site huh

Also the original post in question was just. Horribly poorly worded but also as far as I can tell made from the perspective of someone trying to excuse themselves for enjoying noncon. Hence y'know. Being a big fan of the "i-suggest-sexual-assault" Tumblr account. Really great minds at play here.

I know that there are always going to be people like this on every corner of the internet but my god the fact that you meet so many people on tumblr who are so casual about defending rape or incest or pedophilia or anything else is insane. It is like THE number one reason I do not use this site.

Juneteenth is about Black people who were officially technically supposed to be freed from enslavement. Nobody else. Nothing else. It's not a POC day. It's not a "freedom for all" day. It's Black folk, Black culture, Black emancipation, SPECIFICALLY. Any other observation for Juneteenth is gentrification.

Your Juneteenth reminder that just because they made it a "national holiday," it's still not. It's for the celebration of Black Americans being freed from slavery, finally.

It's from Texas. We been welcoming other descendants of the enslaved. But we close the gate and draw the line with "everybody."

Bringing this back on Juneteenth because making Black observations a national holiday didn't and doesn't end racism and the nonblacks are more insufferable than they have been in my lifetime about Black American people and our things.
