Though it was a bit difficult to walk while supporting the weight of another his size, he didn’t let much strain show. While the majority of the Pokemon that had been surrounding them hung back, Zoroark began to trail along at N’s heels.

“That’s kind of you to offer,” N said in reply. He was admittedly tempted; he was always curious about the way other people lived as it was, and, as much as he enjoyed his current lifestyle, full, home-cooked meals were a rarity.

The moment they arrived to Morty's house, he quickly detached himself from N, supporting himself on the kitchen counter instead and, without giving the other the chance to hold him again, made his way to the kitchen properly. Not really more than a few steps away, but he still felt accomplished.

"I know it's not really anything special, but I hope you feel comfortable in here." Sure, his house was sort of small, but it still held the essentials. Morty gestured towards the loveseat right in front of the counter for him to take a seat. It faced a TV mounted to the wall, a coffee table between both, with the remote lying on top of a pretty doily

Taking care of putting on an apron before anything else, he opened the fridge, taking out some vegetables and eggs, and moving then to grab spices from the pantry.

"Just a warning, I'm vegetarian. If you're not okay with that, I could go out and buy some meat.."

House headcanon because i don’t want people lost inside his house lmao

He doesn't think his house is anything special, really. With it's mixture of a classic Kalosian architectural structure and some of the more traditional aspects of Johtoese homes, it stood out more than the other houses around, while at the same time matching enough to not ruin Ecruteak's sacred, oriental ambient.

The building in itself is humble in size, though, one floor with two small bedrooms at the furthest from the door, each with its own full bathroom, the main room being a living room with a small kitchen and a counter. Almost all of the little furniture there is antique, dark wood without varnish and the like, with the exception of really high tech appliances, a plush loveseat and the king size beds with almost new covers. Most of the things in there seem new, and there’s spots on the walls and floor where things clearly used to be before, yet were removed. Wonder what happened to them.

The garden is ample, being close to the edge of the city and therefore to the forest. Fruit trees and various vegetable plants filled the space, some bearing its fruit and others still flowering. This is where he grows some of his food.
