M577 Comand Vehicle

D Company, 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment 1970

This vehicle was my father's command vehicle.  The original Dudley Doright was destroyed.

M551 Sheridan from B Troop, 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regement.  The Troop modified all the tracks to have twin .50cal M2 for the TC and and M60 for the loader. I spoke with a member of the crew before making this model and he sent me additional pictures so I could accurately complete this vehicle.

This was my first attempt to create a realistic jungle, i used lots of dry and preserved plants, feathers and moss. The figures made of various parts from Verlinden and Dragon kits. The Buddha statute is scratch built.
