I had hiked up Cannon Mountain early in the morning and thankfully was able to beat the crowd that would likely form later in the day. I had just reached the Tramway station when two gentleman were heading down the mountain on the cable car. I was quite jealous of their easy and smooth decent as I quite remember what would be awaiting me as I made my way down the mountain. Lovely photo of Zealand Pond, I had just recently completed my first solo overnight. I hiked up Mt. Hale and over to Mt. Zealand, then on to Mt Guyot, where I camped. I had grabbed one more mountain, West Bond, before camping. This photo was taken on my last stretch as I was heading back to my vehicle. It was a tough hike but well worth it.
