The days are getting warmer and warmer, and the air smells fresh and crisp and of cut grass and flowers. The days are getting longer, and lazier. There's something so soothing in sitting out on the porch, listening to the birds, and the airplanes over head. Hearing the rumble of lawnmowers on the weekend, and the chatter of people walking their dogs. It's nice.
Spent all day getting the house clean to have a board games night with some of the other mature students at Uni. It was a lot of fun! I need to try and connect with some of the other students that were in the mature students orientation to try and set up more social nights like this. For a lot of people starting Uni a bit later, it can be quite easy to feel out of place. We played Pandemic, and two rounds of Fire Tower. Fire Tower is a great game if you want to be vindictive haha. Afterwards, I dropped everyone off, then stopped by my friends to feed her cat that I'm cat-sitting. My partner met her, and despite the fact she's supposed to be scared of men, she utterly adored him and wouldn't leave him alone. His allergies were having a fieldtrip.
