Morning. Is that a thing we do now? (x)
slmplymelinda:
“oh,” that made sense, she nodded instinctively as he spoke. their kind was rare and he seemed so comfortable among the crowd, it wasn’t unsettling but questionable. were there more of them simply blending about the masses? "i was looking for a place – where i could find a home.” mel didn’t know if she wanted to include the ‘perhaps hoping i run into my parents who’ve been mia’. what were the chances she’d recognize them? zero but the off chance they simply knew, she hoped.
He thought over his respond but at the same time he wouldn’t tell an outsider where their people hide, she wasn’t one. She was one of them. “We don’t tend to live on the surface anymore. Humans have proven themselves to be not trust worthy.”
xwitchypen:
Penelope bit her lip softly as she thought of the only person she’d want to be at the top of a metal death trap with. She pushed those thought away. “You have kids?”
He nodded. “I do. A few of them. Mostly out in the world now, don’t need their dad to protect them.”
oflabradorite:
she placed her smaller hand in his, shaking it lightly and offered a small smile. “well, lovely to meet you flynn. seems as though you’re a step closer to achieving that dream of yours.”
“We will see,” he said, watching the wheel spin. “But I also feel like it’s a good start, you know for getting to know a town.”
stasibarkov:
“I couldn’t agree more with that.” Stasi had been in love herself a few times over the years.
“So you planning to take someone else up there,” he asked. “It’s all fixed now.”
stasibarkov:
“You sound like you’re speaking from experience.” Stasi replied. Something in her eyes made her feel as if he had gone through things that gave him perspective.
“It’s a long life if you don’t fall i love a few times,” he said softly and he wasn’t one to hide from love.
elena sighed, looking at the pretzel in her hand. ❝ ever randomly find out you have a daughter and she hates you because you screwed up and accused her of hurting your ex? ❞ she asked, no one in particular. it seemed like a very unique problem, but she had to ask.
“Kids have a way of testing you like nothing else,” Flynn chuckled. “Not sure there is any clear advice for that one.”
stasibarkov:
“Well aren’t you quite the romantic.” Stasi commented. “Perfect moment and all.”
He nodded.”In a way,” he agreed. Though when it came to his kids, the mother’s always had to be witches. Which didn’t seem that romantic from the outside. “Sometimes a perfect moment is all you have when the relationship is said and done.” And after centuries alive, those moments were all you had left.
stasibarkov:
“Yeah? A ferris wheel first date kiss is your schtick?” Stasi asked teasingly.
“I like the sky,” he chuckled. “So yes, if i was to go on a date, i’d go right to the top, stop and just have the perfect moment.”
slmplymelinda:
stupid, was a vibe she felt. was it so obvious that she actually missed it… it’d felt like ages since melinda talked let alone saw another one of their kind. “dragao.” a little smirk crept onto her face before stopping herself. “why are you here?” bluntly asking, realizing the chances of them being in the same town, then again she wasn’t really a local, perhaps he could be… he seemed nice though, her mind continued to swarm with ideas.
He chuckled softly. “Work,” he said lightly. The same reason anyone else came to a new place. Though he doubted that was what she was really asking. “Not alot of places to feel comfortable up here, but this town has a very... large supernatural population.” He looked her over. “Why are you here?”
xwitchypen:
“Negative attitude is kind of my specialty.” She admitted. Was it silly that a witch was scared of heights? Maybe, but oh well. “You know when you’re stopped at the very top and you look down and all you can think is ‘if I fall in dead’? Yeah, that’s the part I don’t like.”
Flynn chuckled. “I’m not sure i understand the feeling,” he admitted. He was a dragon. He could fly. He loved that feeling of being in the sky. But he would say the same thing that he told his kids. “I would suggest doing it with someone else. You go up there and at the moment you get that feeling, that you are going to fall feeling, you look at them instead. It’s what i did with my daughter her first time.”
xblasphcmyx:
“Now people on their first dates can have their first kiss at the top of the wheel .” A bit cliche but she also happened to be a sucker for it and a real life romantic comedy movie .
“Well everyone deserves to have that perfect first kiss,” he said, dusting himself down. “Who am I to stop them?”
slmplymelinda:
she was taken back by the question, it seemed random, but everyone was so interesting. melinda was finding mystic falls more than other towns. perhaps a faint familiarity surrounded him but she was short to place it, like smelling a perfume a family member would wear or visiting an old vacation home.. swallowing the bite she’d been savoring she quickly nod. “si – ah–” she waved her hand before nodding again. “yes, i’m… fine. do i know you?”
He shook his head slowly but a soft smirk came over his lips. “No. Not personally but-“” he met her gaze and allowed his eyes to take the form of the dragon inside. “Family is family.” And all dragons where family. Even more so with so few of them left.
