What got you started in diapers?
So aside from all the times I stole the spare diaper or two as a kid, one experience stands out. I see it as what really solidified my love for diapers. When I was 12yo, we moved from the US to Brazil for a few years. One vacation, we rented a beach villa while some of our Norwegian friends were visiting. Iām not quite sure how it happened, but I accidentally stumbled upon a utility closet looking thing in the house. Inside this closet, staring right at me, was an unopened pack of adult diapers. Seems to good to be true right? Well, 12yo Drengen certainly thought so, but alas, it was real! Now, this was the first time Iād seen adult diapers up close. I quickly closed it as it was still daytime and everyone was up and about in the house, and I was sure Iād have an opportunity to extract the payload clandestinely.Ā
Later on, when it had gotten dark and most of the parents had gone off to bed, I snuck back and took the entire package. I donāt recall the brand, but they were medical and decent quality (Brazilian pharmacy diapers are way better than US). I was SO HYPED that I put on 3 at once, but for some reason (I was probably thinking of disposal issues) I couldnāt even bring myself to wet. So I waddled around in my triple diapers that night, even slept with em.Ā The next day, I was in the bathroom about to change when (idk why???) my friend walked into the bedroom which was connected to the bathroom and Iām preeetty sure saw the edge of the blue plastic diaper packaging, but I quickly closed the door. Iām 100% he didnāt register it or has at least forgotten.Ā
This pack must have had like 12+ diapers, because I remember struggling to fit it sneakily into my backpack. I managed after a bit of trial and error... I later hid the pack in my closet in my room, and would pull out a diaper every now and then when I was up late. (I was addicted to WoW at the time, BC had just come out and I was having a blast playing with my American guild)Ā
That first pack of diapers would be the catalyst to quite a few discoveries and a fair bit of shenanigans, experimentation. I think I made that pack last a few months, but Iāll never forget how special it was. Most of my life Iād thought that my love for diapers would have to remain unfulfilled, that as I was growing up I wouldnāt be able to fit into baby diapers or diaps for older kids, but that pack affirmed that eventually, Iād be able to wear diapers when/if I wanted, and that meant a lot to me.Ā
I think itās safe to say, the prophecy came true <3Ā
