Jayce is there on a football (American) scholarship

Viktor is definitely on the chess team

They both study physics;

For Jayce it’s just a passion where football is his destiny (not by choice but by peer pressure)

For Viktor it is both a passion and a lifestyle that he embraces in unhealthy ways (doesn’t sleep enough, lives off of coffee, stresses whenever he can’t figure things out fast enough)

Jayce absolutely plays guitar (somewhat poorly, he's still learning, dw) in an attempt to woo his lab-partner
