say it with me: viktor is not a damsel in distress. he is not a princess waiting to be saved. he is not helpless, he is not incapable, he is not weak. he’s not waiting around for someone to save him. he is perfectly capable of handling himself, he doesn’t need a savior.

jayce is not his savior. he’s not viktor’s knight in shining armor. that’s not what their dynamic is about. there was a moment yes where jayce was able to use power that had been basically forced on him to keep heimerdinger from destroying the hexcore - something jayce & viktor both at the time believed was the key to saving viktor’s life - but that doesn’t make him viktor’s savior. truthfully i believe that was as much about saving viktor as it was jayce trying to assuage his own feeling of uselessness at not being to do anything to help his partner. 

at equal points, jayce & viktor have both saved each other in many ways. but they are not each other’s salvation, there’s a difference.
