67: “My clothes look really good on you.” (viktor)
Tya stood uncomfortably on the deck of The Wind Dancer. As he had promised, Viktor arrived in the early morning to request she accompany him sailing for the day. However, not long into the trip, a summer storm thundered above them. It seemingly came out of nowhere. The water fell too hard and fast for Tya to make it to the shelter of the cabin before her gown was properly soaked with water. She rejected the offer to find her alternative clothes on board. However, soon the dress began to feel heavy, and the breeze coming in from the sea left her chilled. Viktor insisted she change again, and Tya finally relented. It was only the two of them anyway.
He left her a soft cotton shirt that smelled of sea brine and honey spread on his hammock. The woven pants gave her a start. Tya had never once put on a pair of pants. Even when riding, she wore a simple dress. She took a moment to brush out her long, golden tresses before using a ribbon to tie the curls above her head. They were a nightmare this wet. She pulled the trousers on, which remarkably fit her enough to show the curves of her leg beneath. Then the shirt which hung loose all around her. She endeavored to tuck the shirt in to no avail. Finally, the lioness settled for leaving the front tucked in and the back to so as the wind bid. The sleeves had been pushed up to her elbows, and she was quite cautious of where the neckline drifted just a hair too far down her chest. It cause her to tug the collar every few seconds.
When she stepped back onto the deck of the ship and caught Lord Greyjoy’s eye, where a devilish gleam awaited her. She sighed. “If there are any jokes that you wish to make, I would go ahead now so they won’t get under my skin later.” He had not bothered to change his own clothes. Tya suspected he was used to this sort of thing. His dark hair still glistened with drops of water as he pushed it back out of his face where a broad smile greeted her eyes. Tya could not help but be put on ease at the sight.
“There are no jokes, My Lady. I just find my clothes look very good on you.”
“You’ll find, Lord Greyjoy, that I look good in anything.”
