“Ursa was a bad mom” oh you mean the woman who was kidnapped by the ruler of her country into slave marriage and forced to bear his children? The woman who still loved said children so fiercely that she murdered a man to save one of them, knowing that it meant she would never see either of them again, who, after finally being allowed to go home, was so torn up by the thought of never seeing them again, so distraught at having to leave them with their abuser, and so so traumatized by the whole experience that she chose to have her memories erased rather than live with the memory of what she couldn’t save? You think she was a bad mom because she was kind of stern with her daughter when her daughter abused animals or taunted her brother about his imminent murder at the hands of their own father? That’s what you took away from a story about surviving horrific abuse and being helpless to protect or hold onto anything you love? That’s your takeaway? That she’s a bad mother?
