There is no pain, or not in the conventional way he should feel it. Since too long ago pain became a constant in his life, handling it as easy as breathing.
Viktor is tired, extremely, it has been weeks of shooting nonstop. As soon as production calls it a wrap, Viktor is buying a plane ticket to Tokyo. His suitcase is ready and waiting for him in his apartment. His flight departs in five hours so heâs gotten enough time to go back to his apartment, take a shower, eat something and take a nap before leaving. Â
When they are on the first stages of their relationship Yuuri is still jittery around Viktor and shy of showing physical affection in public. Time, cohabitation, plus hours and hours of training together help to change that.
Yakov is outside of the ice rink. He watches his students and makes sure they do what they have to do and they donât what they must not.
The knock on the door almost makes Alec flinch. Almost.
Alec stormed out of the loft, fury clouding any reasoning. It wasnât until he stepped out of the building and the cold air of the night hit him in the face that Alec realized he hadnât taken anything with him but his cell phone. Not even his wallet.
Itâs the second night Magnus spends without his magic.
Alexander Lightwood and Magnus Bane were two of the most respectable researchers of their time. They dedicated their lives entirely to their careers. Both were botanical researchers. There werenât that many scientists in the field in England as you would think.
Alec sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose with his thumb and middle finger. A finger that he wishes so badly to show at his father right now, despite the respect he still has left for him.
Magnus had never expected to become friends with Aphroditeâs offsprings. Isabelle was delightful but they were never close enough to be considered friends. And Alec? Well, he had already told that story.
Magnus doesnât realize it at first.
Alec has a soft spot for his siblings but for everyone is obvious that Izzy is his adoration, itâs not something that he bothers to hide.
Itâs a night, not very different from others when Alec realizes it.
Magnus rested his elbows on the rail and observed the Veil Nebula. It always made him feel better. Its immensity was a haven. Its colors; blue, magenta and a hundred of hues more Magnusâ human eyes couldnât discern. The parts they intertwined and the parts that split, brought him peace.
Alec days at the cafĂŠ are mostly filled with teenagers, groups of talkative old women and the occasional white-collar worker. Itâs not like he wants to socialize âat allâ, however, after three years working there it has turned⌠dull.
It was late at night when Magnus crossed the portal and stepped into the loft.
All Alec could hear at that moment was a whistling sound, similar to a vital sign monitor indicating someoneâs life has ended.
Alec was pulling arrows out of the aligned targets and picking up some others scattered on the grass that didnât hit it. The giggles of a group of girls playing flew with the warm breeze across the archery field along with the faint sound of a bowrider engine becoming louder as it came closer
Children usually preferred one parent or the other, thatâs what Magnus had heard.
Itâs the first time Viktor sees him. Well, it should be better to say that itâs the first time Viktor actually pays him attention.
