Viktor runs the Avian Department at the Piltover Zoo with precision and zero patience for tardiness. Unfortunately, his new hire—Jayce Talis, former documentary host and walking ray of sunshine—shows up late, underqualified (in Viktor’s opinion), and disturbingly charming.

Worse still? The penguins adore him... And Viktor might be starting to as well.

Thrown together by a high-profile conservation project and a handful of mischievous bioluminescent penguins, Viktor and Jayce must navigate sensitive feathers and the awkward flutter of something suspiciously like feelings.

The penguins have already picked a side. 
Too bad Viktor’s heart seems to be following suit.

Fixing the enclosure size problems...

I built this crescent habitat off the side of the main circle for the swans

And the seals get a giant circle enclosure, same size as the entry circle - just for them ❤️

I don't know much about the actual gameplay of Planet Zoo (I'm only familiar with Zoo Tycoon) but I would like to wish Jayce The Only Mechanic all the luck, I feel like he will need it...

(Loved Zoo Tycoon as a kid, dropping people into shark tanks - beautiful)

Jayce has to run around the whole Zoo repairing any vending machines, generators, or water treatment pumps that break, while also doing maintenance on all the glass enclosures (they get damaged over time, and ofc if a section breaks, the animals escape)

Right now Jayce's workload is "efficient"

But as the zoo grows, if it becomes too much work for him to do alone, I'll promote Ekko from burger flipper to be Jayce's assistant

There are so many food service jobs, they outnumber all the other jobs for actual zoo stuff. I started just naming them after whichever charater I thought of first 😅

Oopsie! I forgot to give Sky birth control after the first babies were born. Now, her and @zoomvie have a bunch more babies, and the habitat is overcrowded

The baby Peacocks grew up too. So, time to release most of the adult bird children to the wild (I kept swan Isha... omg... she made it to adulthood this time 😢 rip)

Here we go! Doing zoo stuff! Conservation win! 🎉

Problems arise!

So our third exhibit is seals 🦭

I looked at the land area required of all the species beforehand, and added that to my spreadsheet. I thought it was strange that the seals (big) required the least space, but I was like, oh well, idk maybe they just like to cuddle up together 🤷‍♂️

So I moved my 2 seals in, and immediately I'm getting all these red warnings popping up

Aaaaand we've got protesters again! 🫠

So I sent the seals back into storage (they get put in wooden crates, much much smaller than their tiny exhibit, but they're fine with that. No more insufficient space warnings. I love video games.)

So. The problem is. The "land area" section is only for dry land, not the total area of the habitat. I wasn't paying attention, and didn't notice that the "water area" right next to it, is greater than the land area

So I have to add them all together to get the required habitat size.

The swans enclosure will also be too small once the babies grow up...

Time to rethink my entire zoo layout
