So, I’ve been thinking about doing a Rizha Irene PSA for a while and here it comes, even though i’m slightly scared of bringing this up and making this just worse. Anyways, if you guys agree with me please reblog this, i think we neeeed to spread this around.
Because ngl, it has taken all my will power not to post about these two. If they are actually dating, we can all agree that that would be the greatest thing to ever happen to a fandom. Two young queer actors falling in love while filming a gay love story?? Unheard of and makes my gay heart so happy it wants to explode.
BUT the sad truth is that we can’t do that. If they are together (or were, or are going to be) we are talking about a young relationship here in every sense of the word. We are talking about two people who despite of their careers are two normal people. I’ve seen fandoms destroy Hollywood level actors and singers friendships, so imagine what we could do to a young gay relationship. Just imagine.
And the thing is that not that much imagining needs to be done. Rizha’s instagram lives are full of just questions about Irene, their twitter replies are full of dating questions, and a lot of things have already gone out of hand. We need to stop this guys, we are just hurting what we love.
In my opinion it’s fine to do some tumblr posts about this topic etc as long as it stays in the tags (if they stalk these, they kinda have to see it coming), but in people’s personal social media accounts?? Tagging them?? Asking about that in person?? Asking from their friends??? Please. Don’t. Do. That.
Like I said, this might be the greatest thing that’s ever happened to a fandom. So lets not ruin it any more that we possibly already have.
