Noel (and Sergio) - Loose Tapestries
Noel: "If you approach any actor in the U.K. - male or female - and say, "Would you like to wear thigh-high boots?" they're in, they're in."
(UPI interview, March 2024)
I will forever love the chaos that is this show.

The mighty boosh hand painted russian nesting dolls:
Derry Girls Season 1 Episode 3
The Mighty Boosh Season 1 Episode 6
Episode 6 is also the finale of "Dick Turpin" and I am hoping very much for a second series because LOOK AT HOW PRETTY 😍

Not The Boosh or Luxury Comedy, but still amazing! Let's wait for the new seasons! :)
Dick Turpin trailer just dropped let’s fucking goooo!! [x]
In an interview with Forbes this week, Noel was asked about appearing in the highwayman film “Plunkett & Macleane” in 1999!
Noel: “That was the first film I’d ever been in, and I was in it for about a second. God, I’d forgotten about that. It was nice to get back into the breeches. Having a flamboyant costume or silky blouse is always nice, and I always welcome a cape or tri-cornered hat. I was raiding the dressing-up box again, so it was perfect. I guess this is Vince Noir if he was in the 18th century. He’s definitely Vince Noir’s much older brother.”
Noel talked with The Mary Sue this week about the visual appeal of filming "Dick Turpin"!
Noel: "The fancy costumes, the silk blouse and shirts, the thigh length boots...I mean, it's a world that I would like to be involved in anyway. Also it's a tech free world. I'm not a big fan of tech."
In 2011, Noel spoke with The Observer about his and Julian's love for artist René Magritte:
Noel: "He was also one of mine and Julian Barratt's joint favourites and that's apparent in the Boosh. For ages, we even wanted to have a pipe as an actual character who floated around and talked. But it was too difficult. You can see from what Julian wears that he likes the whole Magritte aesthetic – the bowler hats, the trench coats and the weird city-gent-gone-wrong look. Together, lookswise, we're like Dalí and Magritte. Dalí was more my type: flamboyant, a mad freak."
Happy NOELvember 2/30 - Noel as Vince Noir - series 2 of The Mighty Boosh
Noel (on “Crack Fox”): “That one’s quite like a horror movie. A horror movie about recycling.”
