𓏲ּ𝄢 even in safe, everyday situations, doumeki’s protective behaviour is still there. he always walks on the side closer to the road, keeps yashiro slightly behind him when they enter new places, and unconsciously positions himself between yashiro and strangers. yashiro teases him for being “overly cautious,” but he secretly feels safe and warm because of it.
𓏲ּ𝄢 when kageyama and kuga finally found out yashiro and doumeki were officially together, kageyama was shocked and a little worried. he kept asking yashiro “are you really okay with this?” because he knew about yashiro's self destructive behaviour and his tendency to push people away. kuga, on the other hand, was really excited and loud about it. he laughed and said “finally! took you long enough!” while teasing yashiro endlessly.
𓏲ּ𝄢 doumeki likes routine more than he admits. not because he’s rigid, but because routine means knowing yashiro is home, safe, and exactly where he’s supposed to be.
𓏲ּ𝄢 when they’re getting ready to go out, yashiro reaches up and adjusts doumeki’s collar and tie for him, while the two of them stare into each other’s eyes in silence. doumeki always looks down at him with that soft, intense gaze that makes yashiro a little nervous.
𓏲ּ𝄢 yashiro occasionally uses social media and doesn’t post much. mostly he scrolls to see what other people are doing and judges them. he loves sitting in doumeki’s lap and showing him posts, gossiping and making sharp, funny comments. doumeki doesn’t talk much, but he smiles softly or lets out a low chuckle at yashiro’s roasts. doumeki is terrible with social media. he barely knows how to use it and only learned the basics because yashiro forced him to. in the end, doumeki barely uses it. his phone is mainly for reading, messaging, and taking photos.
𓏲ּ𝄢 yashiro likes putting his cold hands on doumeki just to annoy him. especially in winter. he’ll sneak up behind him and slide his freezing fingers under his shirt and press them to his lower back. doumeki never reacts much beyond a look, which only encourages yashiro to keep doing it. half the time he’s not even trying to annoy him anymore, he just knows doumeki is warm and automatically reaches for him.
𓏲ּ𝄢 during the summer, yashiro is always dramatic about cuddling. he whines and pushes doumeki away, complaining that doumeki's too warm. but the moment winter arrives, he becomes clingy. he presses himself against doumeki’s body, burying his cold hands under his shirt and clinging to him like a heater. doumeki just lets him and doesn’t complain, obviously. he just smiles softly and wraps his arms around him tighter.
𓏲ּ𝄢 they take baths together often. doumeki always sits behind yashiro, pulling him back against his chest. he loves gently washing yashiro’s hair with slow, careful fingers and pressing soft kisses along the back of his neck and shoulders. they spend long, peaceful moments like this, yashiro relaxing against him while they talk quietly about anything and nothing. but peace never lasts long…yashiro eventually gets playful, letting his hands roam over doumeki’s thighs and chest with teasing touches. what starts as a relaxing bath almost always turns into slow, steamy bath sex, with water spilling over the edge and yashiro moaning against doumeki’s neck.

𓏲ּ𝄢 doumeki loves dark crime thrillers movies and classic noir. he watches them with full concentration, no talking. yashiro watches the movie with him with his head on his shoulder or laying down with his head on his lap (or on his chest if they’re laying down) while doumeki plays with his hair. yashiro comments on everything, and his constant commentary slowly makes doumeki irritated. doumeki usually responds with soft sighs, clenched jaw, or a low “…yashiro, please.”
𓏲ּ𝄢 yashiro is picky with food and complains about almost everything. he can make simple things, but he’s too lazy to actually cook. doumeki is the one who handles most of the cooking. he’s not a great chef, but he makes solid, simple meals every day. doumeki also eats the most by far. yashiro will pick at his food while doumeki quietly finishes both their portions without complaint.
𓏲ּ𝄢 both of them love going to the beach. it’s one of the few places where they can breathe a little easier. yashiro has very pale skin and burns easily, so doumeki is extremely strict about reapplying sunscreen on him every two hours. still, yashiro always ends up with a light sunburn and a scattering of freckles across his cheeks, nose, and shoulders. doumeki finds them unfairly attractive and can’t stop staring or gently kissing them. doumeki tans beautifully into a warm golden tone that makes his muscles stand out even more. yashiro pretends to be annoyed by how effortlessly good he looks.
