      With a hand nestled against his hip, his brows furrowed, and a finger gently tapping his chin, he scoured the array of items. What he was looking for in particular, he was not certain of just yet. He had a habit of entering stores on a whim, and usually walked out with a small trinket or gift for a companion. He stopped and shifted his gaze over to the source of the voice. 

       “HMMM…Y’know when yer just looking and then yer eyes land on somethin’ and then yer whole body kinda just yells to get it?? Guess I’m lookin’ for that. What’s yer best-seller?”

          Breath escaping her in a quiet, long-suffering sigh, she gestured towards a display conveniently placed in front of the door. A sign proclaimed ‘ New Arrival ! ’, gaudy arrow indicating a novel with a well-known name embossed on the front. The boy’s enthusiasm, as refreshing as it may be, was not contagious.
