Tasting pourers can be bought at a bargain on Amazon.com and other online retailers. If you host tastings or want to save your nice tablecloth, invest in one. They don’t always fit every bottle neck size, but work well, if they fit. I still spill on my nice shirts often, but this cheap little gadget has saved me many times.
One ton of grapes makes about 60 cases of wine, or 720 bottles. One bottle of wine (750 ml) contains about 1 kg of grapes.

Another Reason to Buy the VGV
Given the choice between a two wheeled fabric and a 4 wheeled hard roller bag I would strongly recommend the fabric option. Based on 14 years experience in airport operations the #1 bag part to break is swivel caster wheels. Here's why: hard shell bags don't have handles on the bottom (soft bags do) so baggage handlers will handle them by the wheels if the handle is not accessible, they eventually come loose, in addition because the wheels protrude from the bags they can easily be broken off or get caught in cargo netting (and pull off) during handling. Hard shell bags break more often than soft because they fall off of equipment easily, this is because they slide on almost any surface and end up falling and breaking at the corners or breaking open. I know, in an ideal world airlines would not break bags... but we don't live in an ideal world. -Base Manager, Sandspit & Nanaimo Airports
First the VinGardeValise is more cost effective to shipping. Second it has removable wheels they can be taken off and the bag can still be moved around with ease. Our hard shell case is more impact absorbent and has protective corner pieces, this keeps usually vulnerable spots more protected so it won’t break as easily as a normal hard suitcase. Plus it has the ability to safely move your wine around the world with no extra bag fees.
Trying to ship a full case of wine can cost $50 or More, and there is always the possibility of bottles breaking. If you travel and love buying wine around the world then the VGV is a necessity for you.
It not only protects your wine, but even with 12 bottles packed inside, there are no extra baggage charges. In turn you can have a full case of wine traveling around with you and not have to pay extra to do so. Having to pay $50 or more when buying wine seems crazy, buy a VinGardeValise much more cost effective than having to have all your wine shipped to you after traveling.
