headcanon that after Hughie finds out abt Victoria in s3ep1 he goes back to his place to get a shower and shit. meanwhile Annie is still pissed at him but getting worried and annoyed that he doesn't seem to be going over nor answering his phone.

which either leads her to going over to him and yelling at him again till Hughie tells her what happened

or Hughie ending up falling asleep and not texting Annie and Annie being so incredibly pissed he didn't show up or text. Then the next day Hughie is so frazzled around Victoria she eventually asks him what is wrong and he quickly lies that he and Annie broke up. Hours later Annie comes by the office to confront Hughie and meets Victoria first. Victoria offers her condolences abt the breakup which then confuses Annie even more. Hughie is not even there and so she's a fucking mess the rest of the day while Hughie is trying not to scream bloody murder
