Marie Empress (1884-1919), here ca. 1918, was a British singer, dancer and actress. Her films are all lost, no recordings survive, and she herself became lost forever during her journey from England to the US on the Cunard Liner SS Orduna. Missing the day before docking, she was never seen again.

Another funny Pathe 1966 film which shows a couple demonstrating this new fabric treatment that apparently will be the next in thing. This stay in stay shape process gives a permanent shape to clothes.
