@vintageairliners
- Luxair or Luxembourg Airlines - It is the national airline of Luxembourg and was founded back in 1948. Since then the carrier operated a variety of airplanes such as 737s, Caravelles, 747SPs and A300s. They also used to fly to South Africa but ceased operations when European competition grew to strong. Nowadays the airline operates a small and efficient fleet of 737NGs, Embraer regional jets and Bombardier Dash 8-Q400s to different European cities. In 2015 Lufthansa decided to sell its 13% stake in the airline to the government of Luxembourg. In the future the airline is looking to buy new planes such as A320neos, 737MAXs or the C-series.

American Airlines DC-10 LuxuryLiner. [~x]
The idea that airlines and aircraft are becoming more comfortable today is very flawed. What we get as “never before seen features” are, really, just rehashed “features” we’ve seen in the past.
Back in the day, the DC-10 was known for having “extra-wide” windows (~25% larger). Now the 787 Dreamliner has taken over that role.
You can also see that there are lounges with bars throughout the cabin. Nowadays, a bar at most is found in just the premium cabin.
Note the “contour designed seats” in coach, with a 2x4x2 configuration. The DC-10 was designed to seat passengers in a 2x5x2 layout. Essentially, back in the day, all economy passengers flew in what is now considered “economy plus.”
Really, the only thing that has changed to the passenger is the introduction of quieter engines, slightly bigger windows (big deal..), and lower cabin altitudes. All of these benefits are negated by tighter seating, though!
South African Airways Boeing 747SP
British Aerospace BAe 146
Four highly-efficient and quiet turbofans power BAe's short-range airliner, first developed by Hawker Siddeley. Now successfully established in three variants, the 146-100, 146-200 and 146-300, each successive variant has had the fuselage further lengthened to carry extra passengers.
Boeing 737
The world's best-selling airliner. Intended for short-haul sectors, the Model 737 is distinguished by a fuselage section similar to that of the 707 and 727 Models, with turbofan pods mounted onto the under surfaces of the wings. The 737-200 entered service with United on 26 April 1969.

Just to prove my point, Mr "You Copied My Blog", I went through both of our archives. Your blog started in October 2013, and mine started in April 2013. Now, time travel is a magical ability, but unfortunately not one I am blessed with. I was all prepared to feel sorry for this embarrassing misunderstanding had your blog been older, but it seems as though you are trying to make yourself look like the 'older/better'(?) blog, by making me look like a copy, but in fact it is the other way round.
Perhaps you need to try and find your own identity.
Oh and one more thing: "Official" Blog? Grow up.
be more original
"can you please remove our VA images and try and be a little more original? You blatantly copied everything down to the freaking icon at the end. I'm flattered at the same time disappointed that you can't come up with your own identity. Please remove all my images immediately. Thank You"
Uh... I'm really sorry, I don't know what you're talking about this, my friend and I came up with and made this blog from ourselves and a little book we found from many years ago. If there's some sort of 'misunderstanding' I'm sorry about it but nothing is copied, credit is there and it's my blog. Not copied, that's not what I do. I run 5 successful blogs simultaneously, what do you think? I have a chance to copy all of them? No. I've never even heard of your blog.
I'm starting to think you copied me, honey.
