Here's what this bot I posted earlier looked like before the final black outline. The interesting/terrifying thing about working with paint versus a digital file is that so many details get permanently lost & covered up. You have to fully commit to every decision. There's alway a risk that the piece will be ruined, but that's just part of the adventure. ART!
