All these people thinking that because they are biocentric environmentalists that they are better than everyone else.

Meanwhile I’m over here like, where all my utilitarian environmentalists with anthropocentric leanings?

Yes, all living things matter. But so do humans. And you can be an environmentalist without putting humans at the bottom of the priority list. Half of what today’s “environmentalists” propose really REALLY hurts people of low income. Which is truly ironic because a majority of those same people are all for portraying themselves as the friend of the poor person. In reality, driving the cost of goods up while putting a strain on the free market kills people. It literally kills people. Not everything is a simple as a + b = c.

So anyways, I love you Tumblr. Sorry for coming back out of the blue to give you a rant.
