they've been trying for a baby for so long, eventually believing that it wouldn't happen and finally charles gets pregnant randomly, what would've been carlos' reaction? he would've been so goddamn happy and have tried to better their relationship. i mean those 9 months must've felt so special and happy after years of heartbreak and growing detachment with each other. if carlos was finally good to him after treating him so badly for years and charles still keeping his affair intact, that just means he was completely over his marriage and completely stopped loving carlos romantically to even think of giving their relationship a second chance.
