Winter has officially gone.
I took these pictures some time ago in St. Jacques, Valle d'Aosta, before a tremendous snowboarding session when I destroyed my right ankle.
The place is really cool, you can take walks in the forest, spot animals and cool landscapes. During summer, more paths are open due to the absence of snow, so it's totally worth a visit!

Same place, different time and day. The countryside around here is like this only in april/june before rice grows and water is drained from the fields. I wonder where I'll be next year in June...

Almost one year old, I still had my kit lens. I should go back to this place with the Tamron and have some fun :))
My first decent attempt at shooting a grey heron. My zoom is a 300mm so it's not the best option for this kind of subject. Still happy, tho :) Full view!
