Just some thought about dmdp (or rambles). About why the Elemental Eyes is consider more 'special' compare to the ear that Lulu possessed or other elementalist (you can say it is just a theory since there is no solid evidence)

Mysterious religious related power ? Closer to godhood compared to most

First of, unlike how the English version call Riz 'Corpse God' the Japanese use the word 屍神殿 to refer to Riz (which translated to Corpse Shrine).

Since Shula is an isekai person himself (he somehow got from Japan -> other world) there is a high chance he don't know the relationship between Redrazhalf and religion based stuff

The three native (Fram, Izliz and Romelka) all called Riz with something have the religion based words - heavenly - hell and shrine.

Secondly, The Saint of Geldwood (the one who cursed Riz) also stated in the volume that see would give Riz the whole Geldwood cult if he were her pupil, not Izliz's

volume 10

Thirdly, Recuria (Shagrua friend - the girl with blonde hair) also said that Corpse God were revered as the god who ruled over the underworld in some religion in the other world. We all know that Riz isn't the strongest person combat wise whatsoever so there must be another reason why she said it like that

Additionally, Riz himself does quite a feat when he can reincarnated himself - set up the conditions to ensure the body he receive is the one he needs. This part also hinted that he can choose other conditions (and surely he choose not to) - normally in isekai story the main character don't do things like that and there is a god or a system that helps him

If that's is not enough, Civil also refer to the fact that Shula intented to make Riz a god (chapter 140) - even if exaggeration were involved there must be a reason why people always refer to Riz with religious based title and such.

Also the Saint seems to know Riz's mother as well as Minerva (who has fake angel). My theory is that the Geldwood cult and the Saint pretend that they are the closest to god when in reality they don't (since Minerva used spirit that project like angels and the Saint is refer as corrupted).

There is also the part that the vampire noble said that the Saint of Geldwood isn't that 'godly'

If that's the case (Redrazhalf= some part of potential divinity when they grow up) then what about Polka ?

To be fair, I don't know if Polka possess similar attributes to Riz (compared to Riz Polka have been kept shelter and his info is conceal more carefully). But weirdly his best friend before Riz comes aka Yumeji seems to have the potential shot for divinity too. Moreover he seems to be the only friend that Polka have before Riz comes (Polka seems like he don't know how to act with friends that well)

Anyway the concept of divinity is mention too many time for it not to be a thing that would be used in the story

Rereading DMDP and I suddenly think that maybe Shiro/Snowy (Polka's pet crocodile) is an elemental in disguise (We already have the case of Majiri able to trick the Evil Eyes of Riz so something else might able to trick the Elemental Eyes.

Albino crocodile (or creature in general) don't typically have yellow eyes and an elemental girl (?) in their mouth (which could also be reason why Polka put his hand there in the first place).

Also the biting part seems like one of those 'a drop of blood for the contract and the hint of Snowy being a bit too intelligent too. Consider that we'll be going back to the Shinoyama house maybe we can see the crocodile again ?
