Laszlo had roamed the entirety of the library, or at least that's how his legs made him feelâ like he had just run the world's most boring marathon in the history of humankind. He looked at the little piece of paper that had the Dewey Decimal System location of the book he was searching and held himself back from tearing it in half with his teeth. Opting to kick one of the columns on his way back to the entrance... which was a nicety, he would much rather kick the old man that handed him a map with no foreseeable destination; he finally approached the only other person that looked just as exasperated as him. Catching the end of that interaction, Laz directed an amused smile at her. "Murder. Is that a perk included with my library card?" He muttered out while showing her the piece of paper with the supposed spot of his Ethical Hacking bible, taking a look at the scene in front of them. "Either Dewey or that asshole can go first, I'm in no rush."
Vi bit her lip, averting her eyes from the guy in front of her for a moment. She sensed a level of frustration comparable to hers coming off of him, but she doubted his was because of a blatantly snobbish desire to kick a dude who hadnât even noticed her existence. âI fucking wish.â She mumbled, then started. Sheâd now said two wildly inappropriate things about a potential costumer, in front of another costumer. She could only hope she's spoken too softly for him to get it. At least he didnât seem to mind it much, if the grin was any indication. She debated wether she should just accept this was one of her bitchy days and agree with him or pretend she didnât get what he was talking about so that she wouldnât get in trouble. But really, what were they going to do? They needed her here, she was covering someone elseâs shift right now. For the third time this week⊠âListen, I wonât tell if you donât. But I think time and old age got to your preferred subject before you did.â She leaned back and dragged a hand through her hair. âAnyway. Iâm guessing you need help finding something?â She asked with a polite smile.
