“Here. Listen to this.” Violet told him, before beginning to play. As she finished, she sat back and smiled faintly up at him.

“Good.” She smiled. “Fix yourself a drink, and then come sit down.” She patted the piano bench.

At the sound of a knock on the door, Violet glanced up. “It’s open!” She called, scribbling something down on the sheet music she was frowning over.

She laughed. "No problem. I remembered you like those, so I swiped one." Sitting down at the piano, and patting the bench next to her, Violet glanced up at him. "Come and listen to this. I've been working on it for a while."

“You didn’t hear this from me, but there are donuts in the teachers lounge on the second floor and no ones in there so if your quick im sure you could run over and snatch one” he chuckled

Violet grinned. "Who says I haven't picked a couple up already?" She opened a small drawer in her desk, and tossed him a neatly-wrapped package. "I got the last jelly one."
