Terra had done most of their shopping as they had made sure to go early, to avoid the crush that they were watching with mild amusement. The leaky cauldron was indeed packed and even the quiet corner that they had picked was filled with people. So they sat still, waiting for this wave of people to pass, with a pint of butterbeer, and a bowl of stale salted peanuts, which they refused to eat out of principle. They soon noticed a familiar face, although it took a moment to realise who it was, they had worked it out by the time they had neared their table. Terra had never spoken properly to violet, but made a point to know their opposition, violet was a good chaser, so they had made sure that they noted her play style in the Hufflepuff/Griffindor match, so as to advise their team on how to beat her in the upcoming game. Terra watched them pass, attempting not to stare, heard violet’s frustrated outburst and giggled, “a little frustrated are we violet?” they asked with a smirk.
Violet turned her head towards the very familiar voice. She couldn't quite put her finger on how she knew it until she made eye contact. Yep, Terra Zeller. Ravenclaw quidditch captain. She was a good player, small and fast - built to be a seeker. Violet really only played Quidditch because she liked how it made her feel. And while winning was nice, Violet was probably one of the less competitve people on her team. Possibly because she had other hobbies...still, Violet was familiar with the players on the other teams. With a slight smile and a shake of her head, Violet said, "I had expected crowds in the city, but not here too. Though I suppose I've never been here during the holidays." She shrugged, making a face of general displeasure.
