How can I make my room look more like viās?
I'm just going to go ahead and link a few things/photos for inspiration. Hope this helps.
Wall color: this is a dark teal shade. You can sort of see it in the show, but the lighting kind of taints it. After a little digging I decided the actual color was a dark teal.
Posters: I would say lots of posters that feature bugs, butterflies, and even old band posters (Kinks, Led Zeppelin, Ramones, etc.) I think they'd all be kind of dully colored though.
She has a poster that always stood out to me. It was the Night of the Dead skull poster (on the right). I'll link it below. It's $20, but I'm sure you could just print it yourself for free.
She has a collection of doll parts in a gum ball machine, random headbands/necklaces (maybe?) hanging on a wall hook, and a center piece on her dresser that I'm assuming is also filled with random nick nacks. Overall, I think it seems like she collects things that people wouldn't normally collect. Probably something to do with her obsession with darkness. Any little things you find here and there that you may consider junk, is probably treasure in Vi's eyes so put it on display. Here's a photo of her dresser.
She also has a very odd assortment on her main shelf. From what I can tell it's not overly organized, includes dead bugs in frames, records, CD's, and books. I would say if you make things look a little unorganized, it'll give that violet vibe.
Overall, I would say if you're going for her rooms vibe, rely on lamp lighting (she has a very dark room), dull shades, dark posters, random collectibles, and unique items. Her comforter is also a shade of grey and her bed itself looks like an old metal frame, so nothing too special. Hope this helps!
