Hello Minasan I KNOW I said that I'll be more productive now BUT I had an internship to finish for my uni which took me a month and even though it wasn't very hard I was still too exhausted to do anything after work hours so sorry BUT now, with the last day of the internship remaining, I can turn all my attention to writing again. I decided to set a goal during this holiday and return to work on Master Plan again. I decided I would write every weekend, so hopefully there will be weekly chapter updates on that one. So I highly recommend rereading the first chapter (it's mostly an introduction so you didn't miss much). If you are more curious about what it will be about, I'll try to write down the most important aspects below :)

Kaga x Megami — this fanfiction is about Kagami. It's going to show the development of their relationship through the good and the bad. The story will mainly focus on Kaga; I want to show how his perception of Megami changes over time. There will also be secondary characters who are close to the two of them (student council, science club, club leaders, Midori, etc).

Pre-canon — the story starts before the main story of the game (which means it takes place before Ayano finds her Senpai). In the first chapters, Megami is in her first year and Kaga is in his second year. But the fanfiction will consist of the main story lore… just later :)

From loose chapters to something more intense — since we know almost nothing about the year before the main game story, I decided that the pre-canon chapters will be looser. They will look more like one-shots than a linear story, but their main focus will be to show Kaga's feelings towards Megami and how they change slightly from chapter to chapter. The story will get more intense, I promise ;)

Canon differences — this is actually the main reason why I postponed writing this fic, because I really don't want to mess with the storyline. But you know… If I have to wait an indefinite amount of time for Megami's Week to be released (who is the tenth rival, and we are still at the second one), it would never come to life. So I have to come up with my own ideas for her week. And as much as I don't want to, I have no choice. The pre-canon events will also affect the main story, but I think it would at least be justified, considering we'll be going through them with every chapter.

OOC — I didn't want Kaga and Megami to be out of character, but I think I screwed that up lmao. I think Master Plan will portray Kaga (and maybe Megami too??) as much more romantic than he should be, so I'm sorry about that, but I just can't help myself when it comes to fluff. Mostly I'm changing him from a gremlin and freak to a charming and manipulative gremlin and freak.

Unlikable? — The characters may be a bit unpleasant at first (especially Kaga), but this is necessary for their character development. Basically, I want to show how Kaga sees Megami from "a tool to help him take over Saikou Corp" to "a beautiful and stunning woman living under the shadow of responsibilities and a traumatic past". So in the first chapters, Kaga might seem like a total asshole (which I think is somehow canon??? idk). Saikou Corp / Saikou Family — One of the motifs of the story is Saikou's unhealthy family relationships. It's mostly used to justify why Megami acts so cold and distant. There won't be much about them in the beginning, but they will be important in the canon part of the fic. (I'm already thinking about a sequel that would focus more on Kagami and SaikouCorp/the Siakou family, but that's waayyyyyyy too far in the future, so I won't talk about it now teehee).

I think that's all I have to say. I hope nothing will interrupt my plans as always and I'll finally write the fanfiction that I had planned since 2016 (yes it's been in my mind for 8 years)

A small one short for a headcanon I have for Kaga x Megami, which is on the list of headcanons I made for them. :) (this was before Dev changed Kaga's hair color to a plasma purple color)

Megami held onto a picture of her husband when he was 5. In the picture, it was him in the middle holding onto a trophy that he won in his science fair that his school held. His two parents stood on either side of him with a smile. Megami met his parents many times. Very loving and eccentric people. Megami understood where Kaga's eccentric personality came from. Yesterday, Megami decided to spend some time with her parent-in-laws. She always loved spending time with them compared to her own distant parents. During the hangout, Kaga's parents decided to show Megami some pictures of Kaga's childhood. Megami didn't mind. She quite enjoyed seeing her husband's baby pictures and the pictures of his childhood. The only two things that caught her off guard were Kaga's black hair and his round glasses.

Megami only knew Kaga had his grey-white hair of his and perfect vision. Considering that his father had white hair, maybe that's where Kaga got his hair color from. She was wrong. Now, with the picture in her hand, she still had trouble accepting the fact that her own husband had black hair and glasses.

Moments later, Megami spotted her husband making his way towards her with a wide smile on his face,"Evening Dear!"He greeted. Before he could place a nice peck on her cheek, his eyes spotted the picture in his wife's hand. Megami noticed Kaga staring at the picture in her hand and turned it around to show Kaga,"So, you had black hair and glasses?"

Kaga blinked hard at the picture,"Yeah, I did. I had it before you came to Akademi. I had an experiment to test, so I used myself and the science club to do it. A side effect was our hair turning grey-white-ish color. Yaku, Horo, Homu, and Meka's hair slowly turned back to normal, but mine never did."

"You did what?"Megami glared coldly to her husband. Kaga slowly frowned,"It was an experiment. I needed a test subject to use it on besides myself. They're still alive and doing well. It was years ago, Megami."

"It was dangerous for you to use your own club as test subjects, Kusha. You could have killed them."

"But I didn't."

Megami lifted her finger and pointed at the pair of glasses on Kaga's face on the picture,"And the glasses?"She asked, changing the subject. Kaga slightly glared at the sight of the round glasses on the picture as if it were some type of curse,"I had laser surgery to fix my eyes. Taking care of glasses took too much time out of my day, even if it's for a few seconds or minutes. I didn't like it. It got in the way of the things I've worked on during that time. I couldn't wear my protective goggles well because of it, so I had surgery to correct it. It paid off!"Kaga smiled at Megami. Megami nodded at the answer she received,"Are you planning to turn your hair back to its original color?"

"No. I can. I can make a cure for it to turn back to my black hair, but I would rather not. This color hair suits me better."

"I believe black hair is better. It's rare enough to have blue eyes, but with black hair? It's a rare combo. You'll be the only person in the family with black hair with light blue eyes. Hmm..."Megami rubbed her chin, thinking deep in her thoughts and spoke again,"Now that I think about it, it can bring more attention to the family to have a family member have a black color, and not a silver-blue color hair like the rest of the family does. Each person in my family has silver hair, but you. We need to turn your hair back to your original color."

"No. I like my hair this way. I don't want the attention on me. I would rather have their attention on you. You're the most important person in this Corp, and all of Japan."Kaga snatched the picture from Megami's hand with a smug smile,"So, I'm not planning to turn my hair back to its original color, dear, and I'm keeping this."

Megami snatched the picture back immediately,"No, you will not. I'm keeping it. I need to return back to your parents. They need it to put it back in the book album of your childhood."

"Oh! So that's how you got the picture."Kaga sighed deeply,"the betrayal. How harsh." He shook his head in disappointment and felt slightly embarrassed on the fact that his parents showed Megami his baby pictures and childhood pictures. Megami placed the picture in her pocket,"Don't worry, It was nice seeing your pictures. There were a lot of them. We couldn't even finish the first album."

"First album...?!"

Megami nodded,"I believe they had three to four photo albums. They told me that they took a lot of pictures of you doing all of the activities they put you in, competitios, science fairs, and much more. During the weekend, I'm going to go see them to finish off the first book and start the second one. It'll be nice."She explained as Kaga stared at Megami with his jaw dropped open to find out how much his parents took pictures of his childhood and fit them all in three to four photo albums. Megami closed Kaga's mouth,"Your parents really love you and adore you to death. I'm glad to see that. I should get going. I have a meeting to attend to. I'll tell you about it later."She grabbed Kaga's hand and stared at the sliver ring that Megami gifted him that had the words "I love you" craved onto it. She rubbed her thumb against it three times in a way of saying to Kaga the three words without using her voice.

Megami dropped Kaga's hand and walked off. Kaga stood there, watching his wife walking away to her meeting,"I love you too."He said loud enough for her to hear.

Should be back in a month, when my vacation starts. I hope I’ll be more productive than last year and I’ll actually write or draw something (maybe go back to Master Plan 'cause I think about it daily)

Another headcanon for Kaga and Megami. This takes place during the beginning of their relationship.

In the beginning of their relationship, they never showed affection towards each other. Megami never saw the use of affection, so their relationship was quite cold. Sure, Megami loves him. She just didn't see the point of affection.

That's until Kaga got an idea of how to fix it. Kaga would work on a plan to show Megami that affection is a huge part of a romantic relationship.

His plan is quite simple.

During the first part of his plan, Kaga would show Megami that giving gifts is a way to show someone you love that you love them, even it's the smallest gift, or made by your own hands. Kaga would give Megami something he made while Megami would give him something in return. This would continue until Megami is ready to go to the next step.

The next step is spending time with each other. Kaga would plan simple dates to take Megami as a surprise to show and let her experience the things she never was allowed to do: going to the zoo, a carnival, etc.

The next step is holding hands. Megami would immediately shut it down at the star. There's no point in her eyes to do that, but Kaga does convince her to give it a try. Megami and Kaga would hold hands during a certain amount of time (since they're busy with their own lives). They would do it again at certain times of the day. That's until Kaga feels Megami squeeze his hand as a sign that she's starting to be okay with it.

The next step is hugging. This part was the hard part for Megami since the last person to hug her was her mother when she was a child. The first time Kaga wrapped his arms around her, Megami wouldn't do anything. She would either stare at Kaga as if he was crazy (which he is) or just stay the way she is being bored and wait until the time is over.

This part took longer than the rest. Eventually, Megami did get used to the warmth of the embrace of her lover. With time, Megami found herself slowly returning the embrace and melting onto the warmth that she hadn't felt in years. This would be the first time when Megami smiled without Kaga knowing.

This would continue. Until, the part where those three words get told to each other with their voice. This part was the longest one for Megami to do. Kaga was the first to say the words to her, but Megami couldn't do it. Kaga waited... and waited... and waited. Eventually, the plan was slowly forgotten because of well, Saikou Corp and life happens.

Megami never forgot, though. This is where Megami would gift Kaga the ring that had those three words engraved. Kaga was surprised that Megami still remembered his plan. The scientist, of course, couldn't deny the thoughtful gift, and he would show it off as much as possible. He was quite proud.

Megami would do this thing of brushing her thumb against the ring that Kaga had on. She would do it three times. It was a way to show Kaga that Megami was saying 'I love you' through the ring. Not her voice.

That was the only thing that Megami could ulse to say,'I love you.' After more time, Megami was finally able to say,'I love you.' To him with her voice.

Kaga was proud of Megami for finally saying it with her voice for the first time. Since then, the two would exchange those three words during the day and help Megami get used to it.

I was going to write a one short on this, but nah.

These are some headcanons between Megami and Kaga if they escaped Saikou Corp and lived in America.

They have money. Enough to go on vacation, or buy a car, or buy a huge house in the rich area.

Megami and Kaga work in a company in America but in different fields. They do see each other during break or lunchtime.

Megami was able to finally free from her family. She was able to live a normal life without strict rules and training. Just like her aunt, she lives happily and with Kaga.

Megami and Kaga left Japan but had to leave their friends and Kaga's parents behind to start a new life in America. Ichirou Saikou won't be trying to find them. Kencho will be the one to take over the Corp. Megami is pretty much dead to the family.

Kaga and Megami had a rough first year in America because of paperwork, finding jobs, finding a house, a car, etc. They had to get used to things around them.

The first time Kaga got injured for his experiments and had to be taken to the hospital, they were shocked to see how expensive the medical bill was for the hospital. They stood there for frozen for a minute or so.

Megami and Kaga had their children in America. So, in this timeline, there's children half Japanese and half American.

Considering they're from Japan, they did encounter some unpleasant people.

Megami does speak with the student council girls through her phone or video chat. Kaga does the same with the science club and his parents.

Megami and Kaga had a wedding, but it was a very small one with the friends they had made in America ,and their friends and families from Japan who were able to travel for the once and a life time event. It was a modern wedding.

Megami and Kaga would go out on dates during the weekends to spend time with each other and focus on each other after a week of hard work. They would do other things too 👀

Once they had their children, they sent them to a public school. Kaga and Megami would work together to get their children ready for school until their children could dress themselves and get ready.

Megami still drags Kaga with her to work out. (It ends badly)

Megami doesn't really miss being in Saikou Corp. She's more happy being free from that family and being able to control her life again after years. She finally was able to get a family that accepts love and affection. From time to time, she does check on the Corp in social media to see how it's doing and how Kencho is handling it.

Considering that Megami is no longer a Saikou, she replaced her surname with Kaga's. (Or she might keep it. I'm not sure)

Megami is now freed from Saikou Corp. She will start trying to find her aunt. There's a very high possibility that she won't find her, but she won't give up.

Megami and Kaga would cook for each other during certain days. There are times when they could come home very late, so they would order takeout instead. Now Megami doesn't have a strict diet, she can try foods that she couldn't eat. She still does eat healthy meals.

Megami does take therapy. She needs it to understand what she went through and to learn that emotions are not a weakness. Megami would mostly go alone since it is her time, but she does sometimes have Kaga there to comfort her.

Megami spoils Kaga, even if she's not as rich as she used to. She goes to save money to do it and saves money in case of an emergency.

If they have a day off, they try to relax at home and watch a movie to critique it and how bad it is. Again, they try to relax. In the end, they don't end up relaxing. They end up doing something to keep their hands busy.

I was reading about Megami's daily routine and the sports she does and I was like... where's tennis? I always thought that rich kids played tennis, or at least that's the idea I got from movies and TV series. She could have been a really pretty tennis girl.

I wasn't sure whether to draw the skirt or the shorts, so I drew them both.

Hear me the out, I'm not sure if anyone thought of this yet, but I can't stop myself from thinking of this headcanon between Megami and Kaga.

When they start dating and celebrate Christmas for the first time as a couple. Kaga had a hard time thinking about what to give her, considering that she could buy everything she wanted from anywhere. That's until he speaks with Tsuma, Megami's mother, that he finds out about Megami's hamster that she didn't tell him about. Tsuma tells Kaga what happened with the hamster, how much that hamster meant to Megami, and how the hamster was the highlight of her day since the moment she got him.

Kaga is told that Ichirou made Megami kill her hamster because it was a tradition, the hamster had no purpose for the family and show her loyalty to her family. That day, Megami became cold and distant (and the moment she realized the love and emotion weren't allowed in the Saikou family). Tsuma was able to find and show pictures of her hamster and Megami when she was younger. The smile that Megami had on her face did tell Kaga how much joy her hamster brought her and why Megami never told him. It was a massive wound for Megami that never healed.

With this information, Kaga decided to bring back her hamster. He decided to build her a robot hamster that looked exactly like her hamster. (I'm pretty sure it has a name. I don't remember it, though)

During the past months left before Christmas, Kaga goes into a spree of researching all the information about hamsters, getting materials, planning out the robot hamster and making sure he had the advance technology to make this hamster act like a real life one. He didn't get much sleep because of this, but he didn't care as long as her gift was done before Christmas day.

Once Kaga is done and it's Christmas time, Kaga gave her the robot hamster as her gifts (with a few accessories as well).

He tells her,"Your father took away the one you loved the most. Now, I'm bringing him back to you."

This is the first time Megami actually breaks down into a sob. Seeing the hamster she adored so much back to life, even if it wasn't the real thing, she was still happy to see her hamster again and this time, she was going to have it for the rest of her life.

It's just a cute, angst, and wholesome headcanon, okay? 🥹 I mean, Kaga can build anything, so I believe he would do this for Megami for their first Christmas. (Or maybe birthday)
