Today we took our mountain bikes and rode around Angkor Thom to visit this amazing old city as well as Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Phrom.

Today we travelled from Battambang to Prek Toal on a small open wooden boat. Preak Toal is a floating village on the Tonle Sap - the biggest fresh water lake in South East Asia. Upon arrival we took some smaller motor boats and went to see hundreds and hundreds of cormorans and some pelicans in the Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary Biosphere Reserve. We spent one night in one of the families’ home right next to their crocodile cage. It was amazing to see how people are living with nothing but water around them.

We spend a wonderful and windy week on the beautiful Isle of Skye.

Went on a little road trip with Papa today. Berlin - Paretz - Brandenburg an der Havel - Rathenow - Havelberg - Nauen - Berlin.

So happy I managed to catch one with my Canon eos M.

I spent two days in Hamburg with some friends. This city is so small and so chaotic! There is water everywhere, bridges, one-way-streets, a lot of hipsters and of course tourists.  We went for vegan ice cream which was not really my thing (I prefer sorbet, just stop with the substitutes!), walked through the Alter Elbtunnel, on the ferris wheel and for a beer at a little corner pub.

I spent six beautiful days on Pellworm, a small island in the North Sea. I rode around on a bike every day, saw a lot of sheep, took a hike to the islet Süderoog and just enjoyed the fresh (and cold) wind.

The Most Wuthering Height at Görlitzter Park. Flashmob tribute to Kate Bush’s music video to “Wuthering Heights” - it was so much fun to watch all these people dance :}
