I got my heart broken and I survived, I failed 3 courses in university and graduated, I got rejected in the very first job I applied for and got promoted yesterday, I went through hard times with my family but then two years later, we laughed our hearts out over lunch, The closest friends disappointed me several times but I made new friends and loved them with all my heart. Losing people or growing apart from them is difficult. Break ups are simply terrible heart wrenching things, but ending things with a best friend? Nothing compares to that. Nothing can hurt worse than realizing who you are as a person doesn’t fit with your best friend any longer. All those years filled with memories and laughter and tears and promises of a friendship that will always last, suddenly seem so distant. There’s just this huge gaping hole in your past that no one can fix or fill. Yeah, that’s something you’ll always carry with you for the rest of your life.
