it sucks how c!quackity only exists in ship art now when he is a cool fucking character with one of the most interesting corruption arcs on the smp.
like he turns himself into a weapon in response to all the violence around him. his corruption is self-made and self-actualized as a way to keep us with the server.
he looked at all the countries around him and the power circulating and said “yeah I’d like a piece of that” he tried to create one twice and when the first one failed he was like “ohhhhh I get it. I wasn’t enough of a bitch about it” and started just straight up guilting people into joining his country playing the competitive status of the smp to his advantage. “yeah you’re losing relevancy and no one cares about you HOWEVER if you joined my country you’d basically be cool again.”
he saw someone who was innocent (quotation marks innocent) and was like “oh don’t worry I can teach him about The World” and gave him a impression of the world that was so Fucked Up when that person was saving Quackity’s life he basically said “you’re a horrible person. like jesus christ you are so fucked in the head I am worse for knowing you. be better.” before killing him
he wants to protect the people around him but the world keeps fucking him over and he keeps retaining worse and worse ideals until he’s literally pushed out a building by one of the last healthy relationships in his life.
