Alexander Hamilton: Slytherin
Hamilton is extremely ambitious and certainly cunning, so he is definitely a Slytherin. He has a reckless streak like a Gryffindor, but he is ultimately a Slytherin, and he’s not throwing away his shot.
Burr may seem completely different from Hamilton, but they are both cunning and ambitious. The difference is that Hamilton is Gryffindor-leaning, whereas Burr is Ravenclaw-leaning.
George Washington: Hufflepuff
GW is hardworking a loyal, like a true Hufflepuff. He decides to give up Presidential power after two terms because he knows it is best for the country, and a decision like that is very Hufflepuff.
Laurens is known for his bravery, as Hamilton mentions several times. He also takes a strong abolitionist stance and advocates for a Black Regiment. Advocating for such controversial ideas certainly takes courage.

Mulligan is obviously a Gryffindor. “When I get knocked down I get the fuck back up” is such a Gryffindor thing to say. He also spied on the British, something that takes a lot of courage.
Lafayette is doubly ambitious, he wants freedom for America and France. He is extremely cunning, and his ability to get funds for the Revolutionaries allows them to win the war.
Angelica Schuyler: Ravenclaw
Angelica is looking for a mind at work. She is in love with Hamilton because of how smart she is. She also won’t let the fact that she is a woman keep her from reading “Common Sense”.
Eliza Schuyler: Ravenclaw
Just like Angelica, Eliza is in love with Hamilton because of his wit. After Hamilton’s death, she sorts through his writings, defends his legacy, and opens an orphanage.
Thomas Jefferson: Slytherin
Jefferson is the definition of ambitious and cunning. Seriously, he is a textbook Slytherin. He wants to get ahead, and he doesn’t care who stands in his way.
King George: Probably a Muggle
