About 80,000 students today (Sep 28th 2017) protested in Barcelona in favour of the independence referendum. And this is only students, a small part of society! We are unstoppable, the streets will always be ours!

I’m from Spain, not even from Catalunya, but this is happening right now and I wanted to let my followers know - more protests, not even only there but in other parts of Spain, to support their right to vote in that referendum.
No matter if someone’s in favour or against independence, they should be able to vote, to voice their opinion, and that’s what I support. Democracy.
Today, there’s policemen already blocking entrances to schools where the referendum will happen. Literally closing the schools, physically preventing people from voting. The referendum might be considered illegal by the government, but it’s peaceful.
They’re. Just. Voting.
And the government doesn’t want them to vote. Going as far as literally blocking the places where it’ll happen. Going as far as fining people for participating (not the voters, but the ones who organise the referendum such as in counting the vote, watching everything’s fair and there’s no fraud). Literally taking their voice away.
Let the people from Catalunya vote.
