I just found out like 5 weeks ago that I have lupus sle & I'm having a real hard time with the hair loss, I'm 15 & a girl so I was just wondering if you had really bad hair loss ?

No I haven’t and I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. Perhaps some of my followers are dealing with it?

I don’t have lupus but suffer from hair loss for unknown reasons. It is a really sore spot of frustration for me. I suggest only washing your hair 1-3 times a week and taking 10,000 iu of Biotin a day. The less you wash and style your hair, the less damage it takes and the less it will fall out. Biotin helps with hair growth.

I lost my hair to SLE two years ago. It sucks and I'm sorry you have to go through this. I was 23 when I had too many bald spots to ignore and buzzed off the straggly bits of long hair that were still holding on. I stopped washing my hair as often, and I definitely second the use of biotin, even if it doesn't keep the hair from falling out, it helps the hair that is going to come in next be healthy and strong, once you get your disease under control. I have like six inches of super strong hair right now.
