PROJECT 3: The Launch: Voice and Impact (30%)
Share your Creative Vision!
Once you’ve established the design Vision for your chosen category topic––Fashion, Objects, Context (place or event), or Beauty (Project 1) and created, evolved, and applied your Design Identity (Project 2), how will you communicate to the masses your design endeavors and creative point of view?
Design and launch a time-based or interactive Design DNA Promotional Campaign that embodies your design identity and includes an edited overview of your research, ideation, and creative vision from Project 1 and your design process and signature designs from Project 2. Include voiceover or written copy that introduces you as the designer and addresses/interacts with those whom you choose to reach and impact. Choose from one of the two creative mediums to make your mark as a creative thinker and designer:
· Choice 1: A Video Teaser, Short, or Commercial and a Social Media Campaign.
· Choice 2: A Website (Micro-Site) and a Social Media Campaign.
· Video Teaser, Short, or Commercial and Social Media Campaign: A 30 to 60 second video to share your creative vision, created in Photoshop and exported as an MP4, a graphically designed storyboard (PDF) documenting frames from video narrative (Include reflective writing), a Designer’s Statement in the form of a Plot Summary, and inclusion of at least one (1) Social Media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.)
· Website (Micro-Site) and Social Media Campaign: A small website or micro-site to share your creative vision, created in a basic website building app such as Squarespace, Wix, Wordpress, etc., a graphically designed navigation map (PDF) documenting content and structure, a Designer’s Statement in the form of an “About” Section, and inclusion of at least one (1) Social Media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.).
· Learning Portfolio: Share an edited overview of the design process and the finished presentation in the Learning Portfolio.
