I was born in Moscow, Russia. It was 1984. My artistic education is about 8 years of a fine art school. After 20 years without painting I’d been back to it with full time and mind for creating beautiful and helpful things.

​Surprisingly, I came at color and watercolor on paper through digital painting. My way has turned out, that when decided to devote myself to drawing, I had relied on the digital format. Before, I always used a pencil. And, now, in my hands I had got a brand new digital tablet and color, the color joined to my work!

I’ve always loved watercolor as a medium and technique, and therefore I have even digital painting in it. I use neither overlays nor special effects, the software allows me to draw with watercolor effect, observing the traditional execution process. But, nevertheless, from time to time I want to get feeling from the brush, the behavior of the paint with its finest borders, so I added physical watercolor to my mediums and alternate it with digital.

​In any work, just like in my own worldview, aesthetics is very important to me. It is from the beauty of the chosen idea, its execution, ending with the presentation and perception further. Plus I like the completeness of the image, if possible, perfection, such is my etymology here. That’s probably why I leave a clear, background less space.

Artist biography

Born in 1965, Marek Ruzyk's creative work was predominantly influenced by the 1980s.  Polish painter Marek Rużyk creates beautiful seascapes and marine art in the grand tradition of the Romantic era. His seascape paintings bring forth powerful emotion, whether it be through crashing waves or the eerie stillness of the water. The artist  finds inspiration in human forms that can be seen in his portraits of nudes or skillful explorations of the freedom in arrangements of still life.

While the painter’s marine art pays homage to the battle between nature and manmade ships, humans are largely absent from the pieces, save for a few figures on rafts. His work recalls a time when man was dependent on the sea, an age of exploration where adventure and danger were intertwined.

Self-taught oil painter June Stratton (b.1959 Honolulu, Hawaii) is known for representational figurative oil paintings that incorporate the female figure with natural landscapes. These casts created from both the organic environment surrounding her studio and treasures the artist has collected over years. Large paintings may contain as many as 30 individual casts which are then gilded or painted with oil.

He studied at the IED in Rome and at the University of Florence (Architecture and Literature) without completing any of these courses.

From 1997 to 2009, he worked in two of the world’s most reputable advertising agencies: Saatchi & Saatchi and Arnold Worldwide. Named best Italian creative director in 2007. (Grand Prix of the Club of Artistic Directors of Italy)

In 2004, he took up self-taught painting. The day he decides to do it, he forgets to buy brushes and paints with his fingers, this technique, combined with almost hyper realistic results, makes him a unique artist in the world.

2009, he left the “applied art” of advertising to definitely follow pure art.

2011, just after being selected for the 54th Venice Biennale. He left the art galleries with which he collaborated to begin his career as an independent artist. Paolo exhibits all over the world thanks to his friendship with international patrons and art foundations.

His works have been exhibited in Milan. Rome. Florence. Palermo. Madrid. Paris. Singapore. San Francisco. Istanbul. Tel Aviv. Los Angeles and New York.

Taras Loboda was born in Ivano-Frankovsk, Ukraine, into the family of I. I. Loboda, famous ukrainian artist. He graduated from the Institute of Art in Kiev (1979-1985). In 1979 he attended well-known Zaretsky’s Studio. He is a participant of many international, republican, all-Soviet Union exhibitions. Since 1993 he has been living and working in Prague (Czech Republic).

He is a painter creating thematic compositions, portraits, landscapes, still-lives. Presently living and working in Prague, the artist persistently and purposefully develops three main motives: woman’s portrait and act (body with melodious lines, a look with a sad solitude feeling), strict classic still life and a phantom landscape. Objects painted by the artist intrigue, attract due to their escaping mysteriousness.

Taras Loboda, an excellent graphic artist and painter with rich fantasy and a developed decorative flair, is usually trying to look beyond the front side of things, to penetrate through the Looking-Glass of Alice, to the time and space which are aloof from the people whenever he pictures a beautiful stranger or flowers boiling up above the smooth surface of porcelain and copper or else luxurious paradise bushes above the frozen lakes.

About the artist

Christiane Vleugels is an artist from Belgium who discovered art at an early age. She was still 12 years old when she got her first taste of formal education in art, particularly in drawing and sculpting, in an academy of fine arts. She was 17 when she got into the SISA (Stedelijk Instituut voor Sierkunsten en Ambachten) in Antwerp. During her three years of study, she focused primarily on Decor, nature and publicity drawings. Her skills with oils and life drawing became honed when she spent two years of study at the Royal Academy of Antwerp.

“To paint what is in the heart always has been the biggest challenge. Sheer beauty, clears the mind and lets you open up for world’s beyond the dream. Of course it hasn’t always been like that, it took many years of reproducing old Masters and working on commission before I realized that the time has come to create from the heart. When I look back at those tiresome years, during which I often felt under incredible pressure and even, at times, uninspired, I realize they were a necessary part of my artistic journey. I really do believe I owe my various skills to that endless list of commissions. But now the time has come to take new directions in life. With each original work I create today, I realize more and more that the true learning process has only just begun for me!”

“Each new painting unveils a certain aspect and makes it clear to me that I have chosen the right path in life. The sole purpose of my work is to tempt people to dream”.

 Christiane came to realize that all of these toils resulted in techniques which produced more glowing creations and expects one day to release her passions through her art with a fully-blossomed sense of freedom. Later on, Christiane accepted a commission from the Belgian military to paint the portrait for the Belgian Royal couple, former King Boudewijn and Queen Fabiola.

“With this painting I am referring to the Tale of ‘The Ratcatcher of Hamelen.' A story about a man that lured the rats away from the village by playing an enchanting melody on a flute. But, even though some heartfelt music gets to be forgotten, doesn’t mean it looses its magic! Great thanks to Jimbos baby stock for her outstanding photographs! I used my daughters face for this portrait to give it a more personal touch”

About The Paul Miners

Paul Miners was born in Auckland New Zealand and grew up in Hamilton New Zealand. Paul’s earliest art influence came from his Uncle who produced beautiful Seascapes in oils using only a palette knife.

After winning various art awards at college Paul was offered an apprenticeship as a Sign writer / Illustrator. It was while attending trade school that Paul stumbled across a life drawing class. This is where is where Paul’s talent really started to develop and it was some of these works that were later exhibited at one of New Zealand’s popular art galleries.

In late 99’ Paul moved to Sydney Australia to further develop his talents and career. Over the past few years Paul has expanded from the more traditional style of painting to digital painting. This process gives Paul more options for adding his own artistic expression to natures awesome beauty.

Although Paul excelled in painting and understanding the human form, it was always the wild side of Nature that interested him the most. It was this interest, combined with his passion for art, which has lead to some of the most elegant & unique wildlife art today.
