This is the first Mesmalie status update of 2026!!! Originally, these status updates were a monthly occurrence, but from now on I will write one of these whenever I feel like it rather than a specific date of the month, as I feel like I'd run out of things to say other than "The game is going good btw".
The game is going good btw, and I have some very exciting news to share with you all:
The main route is playable through to the credits,!!!!!
You can now play through (most of) the whole game and reach an ending. Well, more or less,,, many dialogue choices still result in crashes and certain scenes need some revision, but! It's exciting having one of the main endings in place, as now it's easier to go up and down the main road and polish things as needed (rather than having to pave the path ahead first).
Of course there's not only one main route in the game, so there's definitely still some work to. But reaching one of the main endings is a goal I had hoped to achieve in early 2026, and it feels great to have reached it so soon!
To celebrate, and since I can't keep myself from sharing the stuff I work on for too long, I would like to show you a snippet of the full game's soundtrack,,,
At some point in the game, you head into the woods behind the coven's house, where fun shenanigans ensue :D This is one of the main tracks you'll hear in this part:

It's very rare that I keep the very cruddy midi doodles for my songs, so cherish it.

Also check out the Daily Mesmer Content account on Bluesky, it's totally unaffiliated with me or anyone else behind the game, so it's been kind of bizarre and flattering to see someone enjoy one of my characters that much lol
