Reading the latest myth update is actual insanity because not only did they just kill dyle AND sonic they did a WONDERFUL SHOWCASE of just how far bendy is willing to go in terms of self preservation
And honestly as much as people were going BENDY YOU MOTHERFUCKER I can't help but admire the writing in this chapter. Dyle is telling everyone to do their best to move the cargo to the front of the train in order to keep it from getting into the hands of MOTHER, but Cuphead is out of commission, Boris and Mugman are out there fending off the ink hands, leaving only bendy to help dyle move the cargo. Reminder that bendy is WEAK AS FUCK because of the blot and we VISIBLY SEE HIM STRUGGLING TO MOVE THE CRATES while dyle is rushing back and forth salvaging as much as he can, while Bendy is still struggling from one crate.
So not only is bendy still reeling from having to run for his life from some THING, he has to help move cargo that he doesn't even know the contents of, on a train that's not his, on top of the EXHAUSTION from being chased like 3 times already, working on a train, as WELL as having some guy you just met being like "WAIT THERE'S MORE STUFF WE NEED TO GET" because Bendy doesn't know the VALUE OF THE CARGO. His pent-up frustration with having to work with the Cupbros and being endlessly pursued all because he wanted to LIVE ends up coming out as him leaving Dyle in a "him or me" moment.
Never forget that everything Bendy is doing in here is so he can cure himself of the blot and LIVE. He doesn't want to be at the mercy of the curse anymore, and with his dealing ability, his confidence is through the roof. He can live, being cured is so close, and he isn’t giving up that chance for some GUY that he barely knows and just met. The moment things start going downhill, Bendy always tries to take the easy way out.
Like fly said in an ask that Bendy is flakey and a wuss, and YEAH. HE IS. MIND YOU HE TOLD DYLE HE'D BE HIS FRIEND ONLY TO LEAVE HIM BRUH
Also look in that last panel I put. He took out the pins holding the cars together. I thought it was a door handle but NO. Instead of helping Dyle because without him, there's no TRAIN, Bendy leaves him because he's too scared of dying. He's just doomed them all because of a selfish decision he made guided by his fear of death, and sealed someone else's fate instead of his. Not to mention HE DIDN'T EVEN SAY I'M SORRY. HE JUST SAID I WANNA LIVE AND LEFT DYLE TO GET CRUSHED INTO OBLIVION. AAAA

Does it excuse you killing someone else for the sake of your own life? Is your life worth more than someone else's that you would sacrifice them just so you could live to see another day? Even if that person was crucial to your survival? At what point does it become less about staying alive and more about your own ego? AT WHAT POINT
