I´d like to say, I love your art, i doesnt matter what you draw I love it. One of the things I like is the shading/lighting you do.

I wanted to ask, how do you usually do the shading/lighting on your drawings?

here's my step by step rendering process!

the layer styles you use are up to you, and i don't consistently use the same ones for every piece. the only style i use for EVERYTHING is multiply for shading.

extra tips: for SHADING, use a colour that's in the environment. If the character is surrounded by green, use a cooler colour. If they're surrounded by lava, use a warmer colour. If you're just drawing a character outside of an environment, then use the colour you see most in the design. For warm coloured characters, they look better with warm shading, and same goes for cool coloured characters.

My Blix is my own, and Corro is my personal oc for lore building in my AU!

Small info about Corro for those who want it;

Corro was the king of Nightfall, one of two kingdoms from over a thousand years ago. Corro was the kindest ruler, and the grandfather of Macabre, who was his most trusted night.

When Corro was murdered during the war between the kingdoms of Nightfall and Daybreak for the land of Paradise, Macabre became the new queen.

Being Blixer's great grandfather, if he was still alive, things would have been a lot different for Blix. Corro is such a sweet, kind man. (Blixer's Annihilate form actually is supposed to resemble Corro. Blix also inherited both Corro's insane agility- and ironic Clumsiness.)
