= Haventale!Gaster wants Cross and Dream leave Haventale while he is distracting Nightmare.
= Cross doesn’t want to go without his new father but he must leave because Dream is hurt and needs to be healed.
- Flooded in tears, Cross uses his knife to teleport himself with Dream to a lonely island.
- Nightmare kills Haventale!Gaster and the other inhabitants. Killer!Sans doesn’t seem to be terryfied about his damaged arm.
- Nightmare takes Haventale as his new home and create a throne made of darkness, monsters dust and humans corpses.
- Cross is so depressed. The only memories he could save is one of the photos that Gaster took with them together. He makes an altar with that photo in front of the sea.
- Dream tries to comfort Cross but he doesn’t want to listen and just wants Dream kills him, convinced that all happened because of his fault.
- Dream gets angry and punches Cross in his face, he is so dissapointed of Cross because dying won’t bring back Haventale and all friends they made. Cross decides to escape and abandons Dream in middle of the island, hurt and sad.
- Dream tries to heal himself but is worthless. He falls asleep because he was so tired. When he awakes, Cross has come back and made a wood fire with some food. Also he used many parts of his clothes to protect Dream’s wounds and keep him warm from the night.
- Dream and Cross talk. They can’t be sad forever if they want Nightmare doesn’t find them so easy. Cross and Dream will explore the island in order to find people.
- Dream can’t walk because feels so much pain in his leg. Cross uses a Gaster Blaster to carry him and keeping him safe. They still looking for life signals but there’s not even animals sounds. Cross starts to getting worried.
- Dream is amazed by the Gaster Blaster. Cross realizes Dream can’t create them, so he promises to teach him how to use them. Dream tells Cross he can’t use those powers that other Sans have because he’s actually a being made of light who lives into a empty skeleton without magic.
- At first Cross is so confused about that, but then he gets so angry and yells at Dream telling him liar. He was convinced Dream told him anything about him and now he feels betrayed and useless because he can’t do anything else to protect him in case he could be in danger again.
- Dream starts crying. Cross doesn’t want to do anything to comfort him. They keep searching for life in the island.
- Cross finds an empty- white space behind some bushes. Dream realizes that island is an incomplete AU. Cross start to remember his lonely life in his old home and has a panic attack. Dream, resisting the pain in his leg, runs to Cross and hugs him, using his last energy to teleport themselves to Sugartale, where Sugar!Sans and Melon!Sans finds them and bring some help.
- Cross is so hurt, but he tries to lie so they can heal Dream fast. Sugar and Melon try to know how did they get to this AU, but Cross is so quiet and serious.
- Once Dream’s health is finnaly recovered, Cross apologizes to him for his attitude and promises to be a better guardian for him.
- Cross start to feel a terrible pain in his chest. His soul was damaged when he was fighting against Killer. He doesn’t want to worry Dream so he pretends everything is Ok.
- Exploring sugartale, Cross finds a huge chocolate bar and eats it, calling the attention of many people, including the owner of that chocolate bar thay was actually a door. Dream tries to defend Cross but the owner is not annoyed and changes the door with another giant chocolate bar. Cross feels again the pain and starts to feeling dizzy and very tired. Dream notices his acts but Cross hides his pain with a need to be alone with his partner.
- Cross and Dream go to a deep forest. Cross realizes that being close to Dream’s soul, the damage of his own soul dissapear for a while.
- Cross start to kiss Dream and taking off his shirt to take his soul (the golden apple)
- Dream is so scared and confused but let Cross continue. Cross’ tongue breaks again and start licking Dream’s soul.
- Dream can’t handle that situation and tries to get away from Cross, touching by accident Cross’ damaged soul and getting hurt.
- Dream’s soul has been corrupted in one of its side. Cross is afraid the corruption takes over the soul, so he bites off the damaged apple’s piece, then put it in a leave and takes it with Dream to Sugar’s house again.
- Sugar and Melon don’t know what to do, but Dream gets better soon. Cross is so embarrassed about what he did and feels so guilty for the damage he made to Dream’s soul.
- Dream decides to rest a little while. Cross wants to sleep too but a weird move and noise under the leave catch their attention.
- A fast purple light flies for all the room and finally falls under the bed. Cross and Dream hears a baby crying.
- Cross looks under the bed and found a little being similar to Dream’s true form but violet with two red marks on their cheeks. The little violet sphere stops crying when sees Cross. He takes the little creature and shows them to Dream. The cute and smiling creatuee has the piece of the damaged apple inside their light body. Cross’ corrupted code + Dream’s soul have created a baby.
- The baby looks so happy seeing their parents, even Dream can feel their huge positive feelings. Cross is amused of their cuteness and can’t believe he is now a Dad.
- After many ideas, Cross and Dream name their baby Lux (light + the letter X that Cross always loves)
- Lux calls Cross “Daddy” and Dream “Mommy”. Dream is a bit annoyed because he doesn’t want to be the “mother”. Anyway, seeing Cross happy because he has finally a new family, Dream decides to accept his new title and ignore the pain he’s feeling in his soul.
- Dream’s soul (The golden apple) has begun to rot.
