Wanted to show everyone my main Robot and Monster OC! :) + Buppy
I think a female Robot and Monster character who's quite a volatile troublemaker but eventually grows to be more of an ally has a lot of potential for story ideas and dynamics as a cast addition, especially since I could so easily imagine how she would interact with just about any of the characters right off the bat. More info and concept art below!
➤ INFO
Not at all from around here, Nazz ran far away from her desert town, and now currently roams the city with her companion, Gruff.
Without a job or a place to stay, she spends her time couch surfing, pickpocketing, and digging through other people's trash cans for scraps of food and other items. Allegedly, this lifestyle doesn't bother her any — a place to sleep is a place to sleep, and she'll take what she can get. Nazz ultimately insists on her independence, not wanting to be held down to one place or another for too long.
Given her lizard-like monster appearance, she is extremely flexible and can often be seen slinking around, crawling up walls, and climbing on to others to tote them around as if they were her own personal vehicle. She tends to be viewed as more of a "pest" than a person, and has taken to embracing such.
Endlessly chaotic and full of energy, playful life-of-the-party Nazz is always looking for stimulation, whether that be joining in on other people's fun, flirting, or pulling pranks. Despite her penchant for messing around and not getting caught, Nazz isn't all that clever, and her lack of self control, patience, and attention span certainly doesn't help. She also has a lazy streak and enjoys kicking back and doing nothing at all just as often. Watching TV, sunbathing, and gorging herself on other people's fridges are frequent favorites of hers.
Nazz is certainly a creature of vice, being crude and shameless, selfish, and immature, and prioritizing herself above all else. She isn't ashamed to be a coward — she's proud of it.
While not inherently cruel, per se, she nonetheless has very little in terms of morals to guide her, going back and forth between playing along with others and throwing them under the bus in a near unpredictable fashion — it ends up as a push and pull, and her lack of seriousness and dishonest tendencies eventually catch up with her when it makes it difficult for others to trust her very much. After all, she is something of a trickster — she'll often do anything to getting a rise out of certain someones. When it comes to other people... Nazz sees herself as above the likes of true "friendship". Even in her moments of camaraderie, she'll always loop back around to deny that she really needs anyone else, that they're friends, or that she cares about anything, not realizing that she does depend on other people quite a bit. All things considered, Nazz is chronically allergic to sincerity and vulnerability, running away from her issues, covering them up with jokes and feigned nonchalance.
This leaves her with a lot of unresolved baggage, when at the end of the day, Nazz is quite young compared to much of the cast.
Maybe there's hope for her yet...?!

Gruff is Nazz's pet, animal companion, buddy, what have you — the exact relationship is a bit difficult to put down, since, in a lot of ways, the two behave and communicate more like partners and family, rather than a pet and his owner. (Nazz is a weirdly [animal]-y [person] and Gruff is a weirdly [person]-y [animal].)
As the loyal and protective creature he is, Gruff looks out for Nazz as much as he possibly could in a rather unforgiving world. Despite her usual rejection of close companionship, the two share a sense of kinship, as he's known her for a long time — he's taking care of her instead of the other way around, being the one to pick her up by the scruff when she's in trouble. Not unlike her other relationships, Nazz certainly takes this for granted.
Fearless and stubborn, he is rather mature in comparison to Nazz. He can also be a bit smug at times.
Similar to Marf, Gruff's mannerisms are a mix of dog and cat. This means he still can't resist a bit of play... However, Gruff is not a fan of Marf or other companion-types in the slightest, and can be quite hostile, aggressive, and even downright malicious in their prescence.
➤ TRIVIA
— Nazz is primarily based on lizards, imps, and jesters.
— After I made her, some of the ideas for the character were recycled for and grew into another one I'm working on. Both character's biggest inspiration is Fleki from Dungeon Meshi.
— She usually rides on top of Gruff's back to transportation. (I have to stress that she will literally do this to anyone in the vicinity if given the opportunity.)
➤ RELATIONSHIPS (WIP...)
ROBOT & MONSTER
Nazz had her eyes set to bug Robot and Monster the moment she first saw them, as a combination of two of her favorite types of people: "gullible" and "easily bothered". Naturally, they don't have the greatest impression of her, and yet, there's a line of morality she toes regarding her schemes, where Robot actually goes along with it, especially if causing trouble for his brother is involved...
OGO
Ogo and Nazz are a bit of a dangerous, coke and mentos-esque combination. While he always appreciates having more friends, and others may even thank her for providing Ogo a distraction, she absolutely enables his own choatic nature, and usually that is NOT good for anybody involved. Well, at least they get along...?
Nazz thinks Ogo is quite hilarious, but that certainly doesn't save him from being at the end of some of her worst aspects.
GART
Gart of all people sees Nazz as a pest in the most literal sense of the word. Fortunately for her, this makes him even more entertaining to torment than Robot!
CRIKEY'S GANG
After a while, Nazz actually ends up teaming up with Crikey's gang, who unexpectedly develops a bit of a soft spot for her.
PERRY
Out of the kindness of his broken-down heart, Perry once let her crash at his place for a bit...
Never again.
