Until now, I was fairly confident that being envious of a shower wasn’t a possibility. It seems I may have been proven wrong. Dutch-based design firm Bricks Studio has recently renovated a spacious loft in Amsterdam’s Vondelpark and I was in complete awe when I saw the bathroom. I applaud those who take a little extra time and force our attention to something often overlooked, in this case the shower. The industrial iron-framed glass panelling has appeared in many offices and homes, applied to windows and partitions, but as a shower screen and door, simply genius! #meandmybentley

We all dream of a home filled with designer furniture, but reality frighteningly awakes us once the price tag is flipped. Browsing through their website, you’ll soon uncover a catalogue filled with well-build and well-designed furnishings. One piece in particular is the sumptuous Hai Chair by Venetian designer Luca Nichetto. With nods to both Italian and Nordic design blended with cues borrowed from the mid-century, the high-end Hai Chair merges classic and contemporary design.
