Where Michelangelo’s ‘The Last Judgement’ clearly depicts a heaven and hell, I keep true to the Yoruba belief that the soul cycles through many lives until transcendence.

Over time, this concept has gotten lost in translation as the Orishas were forced to synchronize with the Catholic Saints.
