Look.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinions, that’s what makes each of us unique and what allows for discussion and what makes things interesting.

But when it comes to people not liking Rings of Power, I’m like

Sure. I get it. There were probably people out there who had certain expectations for the show that didn’t get met over the course of season one.

BUT… (AND SPOILER ALERT FOR SEASON 1 BELOW)

Can’t we just enjoy the show for what it is? It’s a chance for us to go back to Middle Earth. Sure, the majority of the male elves don’t have long hair. Sure, Disa doesn’t have a beard.

But the short hair grew on me (especially for Elrond. He’s my fave in the series, so I’m biased).

And I think Sophia Nomvete was the ✨PERFECT✨ choice for Disa

And Ismael Córdova being cast as Arondir is also perfect.

So basically, I liked Season 1 of Rings of Power. And if anyone on the production team happens to see this post: there’s at least one person out here in the world that wants to see more.

I can't believe that people doubted that Charlie Vickers could pull off the Halbrand is Sauron reveal, that he wasn't handsome or charismatic enough.

He was perfect, the way his demeanor changed as soon as Galadriel pointed out that there was no King of the Southlands. The way you knew instantly that he was truly powerful, instead of some lowly human. The manipulative sweet way he'd talk to Galadriel, trying to convince her to choose him. The rage in his eyes when she refused, his words becoming sharper.

I hope this is the form Sauron keeps for the rest of the show idc
