Sajoupapa: Back then… I was wrong for hitting you. I'm sorry. Sajoupapa: Also… is Kusakabe-kun here? Rihito: Huh? Uh… He's… away on a tour right now… Sajoupapa: Is that right? Then… I'll have to tell him another time. Alright. Until next time. Rihito: Uh! Wait… Sajoupapa: Oh, that's right. Congratulations on your marriage. Though… I suppose it's belated for me to say that now. -- Sajoupapa: Hahh... Haaaaahhhhh... Sajoupapa: *Skipping* -- Hikaru (on phone): You're back! Who was it? A delivery person? Hikaru: Rihito?

Happy Valentine’s Day!!! 💛
Sensei's birthday comic for Sajou this year.
1: Sajou: Huh? Kusakabe: Uh? Kusakabe: What's that? 2: Sajou: Oh, this? It's a coffee plant seedling. Kusakabe: Seedling? Sajou: You told me to grab coffee beans on the way home, didn't you? When I did... Clerk: Oh, you've collected so many stamps! Clerk: You've earned a coupon for 500g of free coffee beans. And… this free gift. Clerk: It might be a lot to carry… will you be alright? 3: Sajou: That's what happened. Kusakabe: Hunh… 4: Sajou: Hey… did something happen? Kusakabe: Mmm… it's just… Kusakabe: So, your birthday gifts. Sajou: Yeah? Kusakabe: I just… wanted to be the first person to give you one. 5: Sajou: Geez… what are you talking about? Sajou: Look at me. Hikaru.
I made some corrections to the translation after Sensei posted a transcript.

Just Married Couple Interview with Rihito Sajou and Hikaru Kusakabe - (Mariage Art Book Translation)
Interviewer: Congratulations on your marriage! It was quite the lovely wedding. Hikaru & Rihito: Thank you very much. Interviewer: To start off with, how were you feeling when you exchanged the rings? Hikaru: At the ceremony? Interviewer: Yes. Could you tell us your feelings at the time? Hikaru: Hmmm. We'd already been wearing the rings for a while by that point, but I still got really emotional. Rihito: Me too. Interviewer: So they were the same rings you used to propose? Rihito: That's right. The rings themselves were our birthday gifts to each other, but there was a somewhat… deeper meaning to it. Hikaru: There were people around. Hikaru: I remember thinking like, "we just made a vow!" Or something. Interviewer: Of course, exchanging rings and having the people around you notice has a special meaning behind it.
[ Ever since high school, getting married was something they'd been thinking about. ]
Interviewer: Going back, how were you feeling when the two of you decided to have a wedding? Hikaru: I was the one who brought it up first, yeah? Rihito: You were. Hikaru: But like, ever since high school, getting married was something I'd kinda… Rihito: Been thinking about? Hikaru: Yeah, and I imagined princess carrying you too. Rihito: No way. Interviewer: How did you feel, Rihito-san? Rihito: Well, I was pretty taken aback… I'd never considered that it was a possibility for us. Interviewer: Did you feel happy? Rihito: Well, kind of… (Blushing) Hikaru: You totally did~ Interviewer: It's great to see how happy you two are together! Hikaru: We're very happy!
Interviewer: Now, the next question is, did you notice any changes in your mindset or behavior after the ceremony (or after deciding to hold it)? Hikaru: Mindset… Rihito: Well, we'd never cohabited before, so there was some uncertainty there. Interviewer: Did you have butterflies in your stomach thinking about how your daily lives would change? Hikaru: I figured that living together would help us fall into step with each other more and become each other's better halves quicker. I'm honestly happy. Rihito: Oh, is that so… Hikaru: Yeah, that sure is so indeed. Interviewer: Kusakabe-san's love is such a strong force! How sweet!! Rihito: (Turns bright red) Interviewer: So it seems that feeling of "happiness" is something you both share. Rihito: Well, I'll still be living in Kyoto for a little longer, so I don't think my life will change too much. Hikaru: Yeah, but we're married! So it'll feel different. Interviewer: So you're going to have a long distance marriage? Rihito: Until I can find a job in Tokyo. Hikaru: Oh yeah, when I visited Rihito, I'd make sure to say "I'm home!" every time I came through the door. It's also home to me. Rihito: That you did. Interviewer: Your respective families have gained a new addition, I imagine things have become more lively. (Laughs)
[ The idea for a "Civil Ceremony" ]
Interviewer: On a different note, was there anything that left an impression on you with regards to the ceremony? Hikaru: We came up with the overall structure of it together. Rihito: While consulting the staff. Interviewer: Who was first to suggest the idea of a "civil ceremony"…? Rihito: Ohh, that… Hikaru: Was Rihito's idea. Interviewer: It's a ceremony where the people closest to you act as your witnesses, correct? Rihito: Well, I already said this to my husband (pointing at Kusakabe), but I didn't have a strong idea of what our marriage would look like. Hikaru: "My husband." Rihito: But when he so naturally said we should have a wedding… I remembered that civil ceremonies are a thing. What's wrong? Hikaru: Uh, just thinking it's nice to be called that. Rihito: …..Okay, anyway… We're here today because of the people around us, so us being able to convey our gratitude to them… it felt like the most fitting course of action. Hikaru: That's Rihito for you.
Interviewer: So you did it to thank the people who have supported you. Was there anything else that left an impression on you? Hikaru: Getting Beardy to be the MC comes to mind. Interviewer: By "Beardy" you mean… Hara-sensei, correct? Rihito: I think he's the most qualified for the role. Hikaru: If you don't pay close attention to him, sure... Rihito: Oh, don't be like that. Interviewer: He's been very familiar with you both since you were young, so he was a good choice. Hikaru: Oh yeah, Z'GOK also performed as live entertainment. Interviewer: It was a good opportunity for you and your high school bandmates to see each other again. Hikaru: Everyone had a blast. Especially with En-chan's death growl. Rihito: Hara-sensei also performed with his lovely voice. Interviewer: What kind of song did Hara-sensei sing? Hikaru: It sounded like Italian opera. He sang in a rich voice. Rihito: Wasn't it Nessun dorma? Hikaru: Nessun dorma? Rihito: The title of the song. Interviewer: An image of The Three Tenors comes to mind… I'd expect no less from an opera lover. Hikaru: Get it? OPERA? Rihito: Smooth… Interviewer: Thank you for the pun…!!
[ Even in 10 years from now, I'd still want to live a normal life with you. ]
Interviewer: If you could say one thing to yourselves from around when you first met, what would it be? Hikaru: I'd whisper "you're gonna get married, you're gonna get married~" to them. Rihito: What the heck…? Interviewer: What about Rihito-san? Rihito: Let me think….. Hikaru: He's thinking hard. Rihito: I don't think I'd have much to say… Interviewer: ….. Rihito: Maybe, "you're going to be together someday… you might not fully understand yet, but please cherish each other…" Hikaru: That was beautiful. I'm in love. Rihito: Shut up. (blushing)
Interviewer: What an unexpectedly lovely thing to say! Now, onto the last section. What kind of people do you want to be in 10 years from now? Hikaru: We're gonna be old. Rihito: We won't be that old. Hikaru: I hope we'll be nice old men. Interviewer: You'll be in your thirties 10 years from now… Hikaru: The prime of life, huh. Rihito: We'll probaby both be busy. Interviewer: You mean to say, you have a clear idea of what lies ahead? Hikaru: Yeah. I mean, when you say "what lies ahead", the image of us being old men pops into my head. Rihito: My father-in-law is a lovely man, so that's probably why Hikaru has a positive outlook on getting old. Hikaru: I guess you're right. Hikaru: Either way, I just wanna live a normal life together. Eating together, taking baths together, and going to bed together. Rihito: (Does he imagine us doing any and everything together?) Interviewer: Kusakabe-san, you might become an amazing artist 10 years from now. Hikaru: Oh gee... Rihito: You'll probably be really busy soon, too. Interviewer: Sajou-san, you also have a future in devoting yourself to pharmaceutical research. Hikaru: But we're still gonna eat together, bathe together, and sleep together. Rihito: Is there anything we won't do together? Hikaru: Nothing.
Interviewer: (Laughs) I think it's a wonderful thing that you two want to continue living an ordinary life together. We're looking forward to seeing what the two of you get up to in your daily life moving forward. Hikaru: The happiness I feel from just living normally is something like a miracle. Rihito: …..I know what you mean. Hikaru: Interview's over, I wanna kiss. Rihito: Don't say that! Hikaru: I'm just saying what I really feel… Interviewer: Oh! Well, then… that's all for the interview. (Blushing) Hikaru: See ya. Rihito: Um, I'm really sorry about this. Interviewer: The two of you are at the beginning of your new married life together, but you shared wonderful words of wisdom with us! Thank you very much!
