It's really cool how despite the fact that PC-98 can only display sixteen colours at the same time, Doukyuusei's artists chose to do stuff like this.

They spent most of their allowance on the fixed colours of the border of the game and still made the game itself look beautiful. No using a different set of 16 for a different scene you have in mind; your selection is mostly what is in every other scene. That's one hell of a flex, and it's amazing.
