Requests are open!
20 slots out of 20 available
Your f/o loves you so much, even if they can't tell you! They love you to the moon, to Mars and then all the way back! Your f/o loves you as vanilla loves chocolate, or lemon loves lime!
just because you have no merch doesn't mean you don't love them! Your love for your f/o doesn't stop if you have no merch of them!! Your f/o knows you love them deeply, even if you can't have a shirt with them on it or a pin!
your f/o doesn't care!! They won't force you to eat new foods unless you want to, they'll eat the same foods as you do, AND they won't judge you if you repeatedly eat the same thing every day of the week!
“We should head back.” Selik urged, pulling her fur hood over her head as the snow weakened as she walked.
“Nonsense,” Flipal said, his gaze sharp on the land ahead, “We’re almost there.” He stated, the snow crunching like bones under his feet.
Selik shivered from the cold, Of course you’re not cold, She thought, shivering as she pulled down her doe skin gloves. She pursued forwards till she was close to Flipal,
“Where are we even going?” She urged, hoping he would answer her this time. But he didn’t.
She sighed and kept walking.
And walking.
And walking. Until her legs were numb and her fingers freezing.
“Are we almost there?” She begged Flipal, looking at him with a pleading look.
Flipal walked to a cave and grinned.”We’re here.” He said as he opened the cave entrance and slid in.
Selik stared for a moment, frozen, before dashing in beside him,”Hey, wait!” She looked around but couldn’t see anything. She groped around blindly until she felt someone’s shoulders.
She flinched when the person pulled them onto their back. “Hey!” She exclaimed, hitting at their head.
The person went uff and made a growl, like noise.”It’s me, stupid..” Flipal grumbled at her.
She apologized profusely.
She held onto Flipal as he carried her through the cave. “Duck,” He’d occasionally say, making sure Selik didn’t bonk her head on a stalagmite.
She was dropped as Flipal ran into a section of the cave. She sat up and rubbed her head as she looked up, before she went wide eyed and her mouth fell to the underworld.
It was beautiful, a cave with moss as grass, actual waterfalls, someone, she was gonna guess Flipal, had planted a tall and snowy white willow tree. She stood up and ran to Flipal, grinning as she tackled him to the ground.
She laughed with him as they played around.
Like they were kids again.
But something happened.
He didn’t plan to drop his knife, or for it to cut off Selik’s finger.
He ran over and cradled her, as she shifted from human to wolf.
She stayed on wolf and let out a howl of pain before Flipal grabbed her finger and rushed her to the medic
He helped her but asked how it happened.
Flipal hesitated but confessed to everything, the sneaking away, the cave, the knife.
The medic was told.
The castle guards were told.
The prince was told, who told the king, Who had Flipal put of trial.
He was charged with assault of a royal princess.
He pleaded innocent, then Selik yelled out that he was innocent. he told the judge everything.
The judge said he needed a while. When awhile passed, he declared Flipal innocent.
The king huffed like a bull but accepted it. He let them adventure.
It still surprised him when they said they wanted to get married. He said he needed a while. When awhile passed, he declared yes.
“We should head back.” Alivia urged, pulling her fur hood over her head as the snow weakened as she walked.
“Nonsense,” Calveria said, her gaze sharp on the land ahead, “We’re almost there.” She stated, the snow crunching like bones under her feet.
Birth order influences the way children act and how their parents react to them. If you're writing a character that has a few siblings, one of the most important things to note is that the same childhood ≠ same experience.
Common Roles & Archetypes
Golden child: All families with multiple kids have the golden child. might be the youngest, might be the smartest. This is the favoured one; the one that's babied and gets showered with all the attention. If there's ever any fighting or arguing between siblings, this is the one the parents care about more and will believe them over the others.
The responsible one/caretaker: Typically the oldest one, especially in bigger families. This is the one that had to take care of their siblings as a parent would, and often causes resentment. This is the 'parentified' sibling. The sibling that isn't allowed to hang out with friends or make plans because they need to babysit their little brother/sister. Their childhood was cut short.
The invisible one: This always ends up being the middle child. The forgotten one. They rarely cause problems, or are part of the problems, but they are the one that don't receive support or attention.
The black sheep: This one is the rebel, the scapegoat, the one that's always in trouble. This one could be the middle or the youngest, but is rarely the oldest. They're blamed for arguments and they're the first one to get kicked out. Constantly grounded and constantly fighting to get attention.
The roles stick with them through life, even into adulthood. Conflict styles vary from passive aggression, to loud, physical fights or even just screaming at each other through the door.
Communication
Arguing/fights: Siblings fight. It's part of their key communication structure, especially in their younger ages. Siblings fight over everything, don't be afraid to throw in the most ridiculous points of conflict. Tension over attention (or lack thereof) from others: teachers, parents, boys/girls at school or even other siblings.
Conflict style: Stick to a conflict style. Are they loud? Do they scream and throw things? Silent resentment? Do they just get over it eventually?
Shared History: Growing up together means nicknames, inside jokes, sarcastic quips and specific gestures that mean things only to them. This also means they know exactly what triggers each other, things that annoy them, fears, ambitions. They know where to strike when they know everything about each other.
But it's not always about fighting
Emotional awareness: They know the signs when one is upset, or if something is wrong.
Loyalty: Siblings may feel protective over each other. This can be anything from waiting at the school gate to walk the youngest home, or running a form of 'reconnaissance' on a new boyfriend/girlfriend.
Distance: Separation can change how they interact, and shift dynamics. But old patterns come back, even if they've matured slightly.
